    (icq not working anymore?)

    evile: happy Tuesday :)
    SkyeDS: hola :)
    evile: How was your weekend?
    SkyeDS: nice, urs?
    evile: excellent :)
    SkyeDS: :D
evile: We already decided what we're wearing to the next GWNN party :)
SkyeDS: sounds like ya'll have been having a good time, I was reading
    evile: yup :)
evile: I think I made good use of my 3 days away from work ;)
SkyeDS: what all did you do? (I haven't read LJ today yet)
evile: yoga, shopping, gwnn party, got lucky, ran errands, saw a
movie with Sweetie, more shopping, talked to mom on the phone, ate good
stuff with cute gals, and then celebrated Max's 31 at Baskin Robbins
with the usual gang o' freaks.
SkyeDS: <makes note of got lucky, which is not something you say (to
    me at least) very often
evile: *grinz* I figure it's not really a subject that needs to come
up among family...but you're going to read my LJ post about Saturday
    night at some point, so...
SkyeDS: oh that. yes, I read that one. I did read LJ yesterday.
    Just not today.
    evile: *nod*
evile: did your truck do OK this weekend?
    SkyeDS: yepyep
evile: that's good. Was the birthday celebration fun?
    SkyeDS: very :)
    evile: awesome :)
SkyeDS: I'm going to take the SCA Eq handbook and adapt the games
officially for HFS, and run them in Morconor (Waco)
    evile: Oh cool.
    evile: OMG, LOL:
TEN COMMANDMENTS: The real reason that we can't have the Ten
Commandments in a Courthouse... you cannot post "Thou shalt not
steal", "Thou shalt not commit adultery", and "Thou shalt not bear
false witness" in a building full of lawyers, judges, and
politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.
    SkyeDS: ROFL toof ucking funny!!!
evile: *grinz. * I love LJ.
evile: so...our next GWNN party, we are wearing furs, jewels, and
    lingerie.
evile: (assuming the weather is still cold enough by March 19, anyway)
    SkyeDS: TX weather who knows
evile: yeah. I'm garnet girl, so I am now in the market for burgundy
    underthings.
SkyeDS: victorian burgundy and green :)
evile: that could be pretty :)
evile: One thing I've found in common with all the various hobbies &
    groups I have--dressing up :)
    SkyeDS: nodnods
evile: I got a nice follow-up email from Sir M, the nice dom who
shared his toys & expertise with us.
    SkyeDS: :D
evile: He did his best not to mark me, but I did eventually get a
    few bruises.
SkyeDS: price of the games we like to play (no different then the
numerous horse/bird bruises all the time I guess)
evile: heh. I doubt you've ever orgasmed from being bitten or stepped
on by one of your animals, but I do see your point.
evile: I don't like having any imperfections on my skin, so I think
I'll be on the other end of the floggers/paddles/straps/canes/etc
    next time.
SkyeDS: I might as well not have an opinion about bruises
    evile: heh.
SkyeDS: I have them all the time anyway whether I like it or not
evile: I bruise easy. Which I guess is why I prefer not to be bruised
    if I can help it.
SkyeDS: I get these bruises that don't color, you cant' see them
    SkyeDS: they hurt like hell
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: then I get big ugly colored ones
SkyeDS: that don't hurt at all mostly
evile: usually if it's a deep bruise, it doesn't show right away, but
it hurts, and by the time the color comes up it is mostly healed.
SkyeDS: problem is, if people cant' see it, they can't avoid it.
    evile: yup
evile: Our Dom friend was very careful to avoid any areas we
mentioned as being too painful or tender.
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: and when I rated an item as "# ___" in my "not friends" list,
he was quick to move on to a new toy.
SkyeDS: poly people and bdsm people learn the hard way about trust
    and communication
    evile: some.
SkyeDS: some of us didn't need to learn, goes without saying
SkyeDS: but if you do need to learn, you will learn it t he hard way
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: vanilla mundanes don't always get it in either case, and that
does not help their lack of understandings
evile: Lack of communication skills would be a problem in any
    relationship, vanilla or otherwise.
    SkyeDS: zactly
SkyeDS: something I tried to impart when doing readings, with who
    knows how much success.
evile: well, like you say, some people have to learn the hard way, or
not at all, in some cases.
SkyeDS: I didn't tell them, this is the poly/bdsm discussion c
hecklist, I just went down teh checklist and said, you should discuss
    these things
    SkyeDS: ie what constitutes cheating
SkyeDS: what do you like/what don't you like
    SkyeDS: money issues, etc
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: besides there are lots of marriage counseling books that have
same or similar checklists. I just happened to have those handy.
    evile: heh. that's cool.
SkyeDS: but by and large the "I don't understand how that could
possibly work (insert poly, bdsm,w hatever you want in there)" well,
trust and communication. And some just dont' get it
evile: *shrug* Some people don't like chocolate ice cream. It's not a
moral failing. But I guess there are those who say "chocolate ice
cream? that's nasty, who could possibly like such a thing!?" I don't
care what they like or don't like, but I could do without the
    judgement.
evile: totally random unrelated thought...I wonder if I'd have better
luck if I called it a "live-it" instead of a "diet"....
    SkyeDS: lol worth a try?
    evile: *nod*

    (yahoo messenger)

evilE: ICQ totally crapped out on me!!
    skye_ds: saw t hat
skye_ds: am tryin gto figure out whether I need to leave here at 3 or
    not
    skye_ds: supposedly I have a lesson at 4, but I haven't been able to
confirm that, and I"m wondering how a lesson will transpire at 4 if
    he's in school
evilE: doesn't school usually let out 3 ish?
skye_ds: don't know. don't know what school he goes to. they move him
    around every two weeks
evilE: Sucks not to be able to get ahold of anyone to
confirm the lesson...I guess if there's stuff to be done in the
office that can't wait till tomorrow, stay, but otherwise, go and if
there's not a lesson, enjoy the evening
    skye_ds: guess so
evilE: Tina (and other service professionals I know),
charges a fee for missed appointments without 24 hours notice.
evilE: Something to think about, if this sort of thing
    becomes common.
skye_ds: in similar fashion, if you don't call and confirm within 24
hours, I just won't be there.
    evilE: *nod*
    skye_ds: guess imina mosy
skye_ds: <hugs> wind to your wings
evilE: you too, babe! Have fun!
