SkyeDS: got here at 9:30. If Hugh hadn't been on the phone he would
have fallen out of his chair, lol

evile: oh, there is that. Lesson today?
SkyeDS: no, which surprises me, given the good weather
SkyeDS: of course there's likely to be a msg on my machine at home
wanting to know if we can have one
SkyeDS: after I've told them, ahve to ask 24 hours in advance
evile: Well, it'll be nice to have some daylight to yourself, then :)

SkyeDS: if it's not dark at 6:30 or so
evile: days are gradually getting longer.

evile: My mother forwarded to me a letter that X's aunt mailed to
her. wtf.
SkyeDS: with no explanation of why it was forwarded?
evile: she wrote notes all over it and put a big highlighter-marker
square in the part where her aunt talked about X's fucked up life.
SkyeDS: a situation of which you have long been apprised already
evile: I just really don't want to know. There's nothing I can do to
help the kids, nothing I can (or want to) do for X...so why
torture me with shit like that? My mom ... I don't know what to do
with her sometimes.
SkyeDS: I don't think it's a mom thing, I think it's a grandma mode
thing now
evile: Yes, I do recall my grandmother torturing me. I had hoped that
part of mom turning into Nanny wouldn't happen.
SkyeDS: Grandma's act strangely.

evile: I just don't know what part of "this relationship is
destroyed, gone, dead and damned" someone would NOT understand.
SkyeDS: no clue
evile: I feel terrible for the kids, thinking about them breaks my
heart...but I am completely helpless to do anything for them. so why
shove that in my face so brutally?
SkyeDS: it surpasses my understanding :(

evile: Maybe it's because I refuse to discuss or get upset by
Brother A/Rubber_Pig/kids situation, but she wants me upset?
SkyeDS: how dare you have a cool head when no one else around you does
SkyeDS: that sounds familiar actually

evile: She actually mentioned that she had sent the letter when we
were talking on Sunday, in front of Kate. I tried to change the
subject as quickly as possible, but probably not fast enough. It did
distress me a little, but I didn't think it was a good time/place to
discuss it.

SkyeDS: oh wait, u Rnt thinking, I get it
evile: She said something like "Kathi V sent me a letter, she's worried
about X, because X has disappeared"....and so I had to say "No,
she hasn't, she's working at the Alamo Drafthouse" I probably should
not have even said that much.

thinking internally in your place)

evile: And then there's the whole having to explain how I would know
that...
evile: which, since I bothered to explain it, made me look like I'm
actually keeping tabs and actually give a shit.
evile: argh.
SkyeDS: ya.
evile: damned if ya do, damned if ya don't. I shouldn't have said
nothin, barring that I should have stopped digging when I found
myself in a hole.

evile: Good news to make us happy: Max is closing on a house in about
a week. It has a pool and a hot tub :)
SkyeDS: lol I should cultivate Max now ;)
evile: I'm really proud of him, he's doing this all on his own.
evile: When I first met him he was temping at dell, sharing a dirty
messy 2 bedroom trailer in BFE with 2 other guys.

SkyeDS: I'm proud of sineater for same reason
evile: He's still not a great housekeeper, but has gotten a handle on
his job and his money very well.
evile: cute quizzies--how did you get them to come out so
perfectly? :P

SkyeDS: probably small friends list
evile: Yeah. I noticed that sonar0m' filled in the same name in 2
fields.
SkyeDS: I had to tell it to clear friends data several times before
it even listed friends in quiz, it kept leaving blank
evile: wierd!
evile: Man, I am going to sleep over here...

SkyeDS: would like to nap under a tree
evile: It might still be a little marshy for that, but yeah...I'd
much rather be outside, that's for sure.
evile: trying to work up some enthusiasm for dinner and maybe skating
tonight. I really just want to go home and lay up
SkyeDS: sineater brought me back three roses, two bags of chocolate, and
a box of oatmeal cream pies
