Hoovooloo: What's with all the abuse posts? Is someone on your
friends list not taking a hint?
evile: My library books are due Thursday, so I'm going to finish
gleaning the info I think will be helpful and then drop it.
Hoovooloo: Are you okay?
evile: I personally am not being abused, if that's what you're asking.
Hoovooloo: That's a relief. I was starting to worry about you.
evile: Nah, it's my fricken stepbrother and his fricken wife. Well,
and my brother and the pig, too, but they don't have LJ's that I know
of.
Hoovooloo: Oh! I hadn't made the connection.
evile: My stepbro called me on the phone last Sunday and read me the
riot act. Apparently he thought I was in cahoots with his wife's ex
boyfriend and that's why I was posting the abuse stuff.
evile: because the ex just coincidentally used the word 'abuse' in
his LJ one day after I'd posted some abuse stuff in my LJ.
Hoovooloo: She sounds like a real charmer.
evile: yeah, she's a pip.
Hoovooloo: I thought they had some sort of faux marriage...
handfasting or something?
evile: sineater and skye are married, legally in the state of TX. She
also is 'polyamorous' so she has boyfriend(s)
evile: my brother Brother A and his pig, not on LJ, had a fake wedding
last May, and as far as I know, the pig does not have a legal divorce
from her REAL husband as of yet.
evile: but they are not openly polyamorous, and she presents her
current legal husband as her 'ex' even though he was still living
with them as of mid-January.
evile: let's just say that when I don't think about their shit, I'm
OK. My own personal life is very satisfying and I am very happy with
my Sweetie and my social life.
Hoovooloo: If this gets any more complicated, I'm making a diagram.
evile: no shit, right. Makes my brain hurt.
evile: Nothing about $5 worth of ammo couldn't solve...
Hoovooloo: Okay, that was unpleasant, and I've got a joke stuck in my
head :

evile: I don't know. what?
Hoovooloo: An elephant.
evile: *laffs* ICK!

Hoovooloo: My brother got married last September.
evile: aww!
Hoovooloo: Page 6 has me and Tim in the informal kilts for the dress
rehearsal.
evile: Looks like it was a fun wedding :)
Hoovooloo: It was a hoot.
evile: (as my launchcast plays "Scotland the brave"....eerie!)
Hoovooloo: Page 12 has the groomsmen getting dressed.
Hoovooloo: Mum keeps coming up with more events for which I can put
it on again.
evile: yee haw! sexy legs!
Hoovooloo: I've committed to wearing it under the robes for my
graduation in June.
evile: awesome!!
Hoovooloo: And I went autocrossing in the hunting tartan one for
Halloween.
evile: sweet :)
evile: My aunt still hopes that Sweetie & I will make it legal some day
and she wants us in Scottish get-up.
Hoovooloo: If Texas goes the civil union route for gay marriage you
should go get one of those. We talked about downgrading if
Massachusetts went the wrong way.
evile: we could already be common law, if that's what we wanted. I
don't think gay marriage will ever be a thing in TX (I say from my
blue island in a sea of red)
Hoovooloo: Though I like to think of you doing a Jay impression and
describing Mac as 'lunchbox, my hetero life-partner'
evile: *laugh* That's about perfect!
Hoovooloo: Croaker dressed up as Silent Bob for our Halloween party
this year. He made a good Bob.
evile: how awesome is that?!? I bet it was a great party!
Hoovooloo: It was really good! Our guests really went all-out on the
costumes.
Hoovooloo: We even had some unintentional matching outfits. Jost as
an astronaut, R'nice as an alien.
evile: that's always fun, when people really work on the costumes
evile: heehee!
Hoovooloo: Jade as Cruella D'evil, Widget as a dalmation.
evile: aww! SO CUTE!
Hoovooloo: I should poke Jess to get those pictures put up.
evile: yes you should.
