evile: no big. someone in LJ (ample) didn't cut their nipple peircing
photos earlier, so if I'm hosed , I'm hosed already.

Sineater: doesn't lj get pissy about "lewd" photos? i know a couple
of people that got smacked for their user pics
evile: i think there's a diff between user pics and stuff you post in
yoru actual journal...besides I doubt they've got the manpower to
police every single journal out there.

evile: as far as I know it's still going, and LJ management hasn't
stopped it.

evile: Ok. I am going to try and get in touch w/Mom one last time
tonight and then bag it if I can't reach her.
evile: I should have just written her a letter, like, a week ago.
Sineater: hmm.... she does seem to spurn modern methods of
communication ;)
evile: Things between me and mom are very wounded right now, but I am
going to try NOT to do my usual distancing thing.
evile: (too little too late, I suspect, but I'm going to try anyway)
Sineater: good point. that might be a better approach. this isn;t
going to go away, and she is still your mother
evile: She is going to need a support system when Brother A and Rubber_Pig go
kablooey in her face.
Sineater: this is true. and i don't see any way for that -not- to
happen :(
evile: And despite our differences and how very very dismissed and
unloved I feel, I still love her and want to be there for her
evile: Anyway, the plan is to contact her by phone and see if she
wants a visit on Sunday. Tonight is the only night I'm going to be
home to make a phone call.
evile: If I can't get ahold of her, I'm mailing a b-day card, with a
note that says I'd like to come visit sometime, andalso including
some stuff that 's going on in Austin in the next few weekends to
invite her here.
