SkyeDS [12:02]: you don't have any experience ridding yourself of
unwanted dreams do you?
evile [12:02]: as in a recurring one?
SkyeDS [12:03]: not necessarily one dream recurring in every detail,
but many dreams with a recurring theme
SkyeDS [12:03]: in this case, someone who is following me around
everywhere with the express intent of hurting me, but using different
tactics each time
evile [12:04]: Hm. I'ts probably something in RL that you need to
deal with, but if you can manage to do lucid dreaming and change the
dream, sometimes that helps with the RL situation too
SkyeDS [12:04]: the last time I had dreams about someone in RL like
this, they were warnings
SkyeDS [12:05]: and I always find out through other sources that said
person is provably up to no good
SkyeDS [12:05]: yes
SkyeDS [12:05]: and in this case, he can't hurt me
SkyeDS [12:05]: I intend to go on as I have stated I would, positively
SkyeDS [12:06]: but I want the damn dreams to go away
SkyeDS [12:06]: I don't need to be warned that he's out to hurt me, I
know that. And he has no power to hurt me because I won't give it to
him.
SkyeDS [12:06]: So the warning dreams serve no purpose, and i want
them to go away.
evile [12:06]: perhaps your mind needs a more direct confrontation,
either a letter you write directly to the person and then choose not
to send, or an actual conversation with the person in some sort
of 'safe' venue
SkyeDS [12:07]: you are psychic :)
SkyeDS [12:07]: I was writing myself a letter in my LJ just now
SkyeDS [12:08]: I did a reading for myself this morning. It is very
reassuring.
evile [12:08]: If it's Kaleon, he's apparently leaving Austin soon.
SkyeDS [12:08]: so he says.
SkyeDS [12:08]: he says a lot and does very little
SkyeDS [12:09]: it isn't t hat I don't appreciate whatever early
warning system seems to be in operation when someone is trying to
hurt me
evile [12:09]: I was under the impression he'd given notice at work
SkyeDS [12:09]: but in this case, he can't, I won't let him, and I
don't really need to wake up with headaches every morning because of
nightly reminders that he wants to hurt me.
evile [12:09]: *nod*
SkyeDS [12:09]: given notice? they're eliminating his shift, and he
likely didn't get asked/didn't ask to move to days
SkyeDS [12:12]: yep
SkyeDS [12:13]: remember I said, there are going to be individuals
who read my long post, and think it's All About Them
evile [12:13]: *nod*
SkyeDS [12:13]: well, he took it personally
SkyeDS [12:13]: and it wasn't just about him
evile [12:13]: oh, feh.
evile [12:13]: did he send you email about it, or what?
SkyeDS [12:13]: it was about him, AND Bridget, AND Kilsharion & Co,
AND my little brother, AND everyone else who hates/dislikes me for
reasons surpassing my understanding
SkyeDS [12:13]: first I got the recurring nightmares
SkyeDS [12:14]: the cards said what the dreams said, that someone is
out to hurt me in an underhanded dirty fashion
SkyeDS [12:14]: then I check his logs, and sure enough, he's aiming
at me again.
evile [12:15]: 'check his logs'??
SkyeDS [12:15]: before the dreams, I hadn't read anything of his for
MONTHS
SkyeDS [12:15]: his LJ
evile [12:15]: Oh. I hadn't looked at it lately, either.
SkyeDS [12:15]: it's simple enough not to read his LJ anymore because
I've got all the verification of who's up to what that I need
SkyeDS [12:16]: so now, I just need the nightmares to stop
SkyeDS [12:16]: because, I don't want to know, I don't care, he can't
hurt me, I don't need the warning.
evile [12:17]: yeah, that sucks.
SkyeDS [12:17]: last time someone invaded my dreams, I did a
particularly powerful ritual (not my power I assure you)
SkyeDS [12:18]: and then I let person know in no uncertain terms that
if he continued there would be global thermonuclear warfare from me
and he wouldn't like it
SkyeDS [12:18]: he decided to stop
evile [12:18]: *nod* god helps those who help themselves & all that.
SkyeDS [12:18]: of course, within 24 hours of my declaration he had
his vacation canceled, his fiancee kicked him out, and he was charged
with murder.
SkyeDS [12:18]: he was convinced I brought all that about.
evile [12:19]: wow...when Karma decides to clean house, it does so!
SkyeDS [12:19]: I can't remember whether he was convicted or not, but
I think he was.
evile [12:20]: yuck
SkyeDS [12:20]: anyway, I'm not going to make any such announcements
anymore
SkyeDS [12:20]: I"m not even stooping to his level.
SkyeDS [12:20]: I'm going to put my affirmations in writing, because
they seem more powerful after I write them down
evile [12:20]: *nod*
SkyeDS [12:20]: and I"m going to keep looking at them, and I"m going
to have positive energy and none other
SkyeDS [12:21]: and if he wants to take that as an attack on him,
fine, but he's on ignore
SkyeDS [12:21]: no matter how many warning nightmares I get and how
many headaches I wake up with
SkyeDS [12:21]: so they might as well just stop, now.
SkyeDS [12:22]: so tempting to title a post, don't go away mad, just
go away, please. but I won't.
evile [12:23]: heh. good for you.
SkyeDS [12:24]: wouldn't you think it was weird, after you have so
successfully put X out of your existence, if she started raiding
your dreams every night?
evile [12:24]: *nod*
SkyeDS [12:25]: maybe it's just a test
SkyeDS [12:28]: dammit, I had lyrics in my head from like four songs
last night and now I can only remember two.
SkyeDS [12:29]: I am getting senile, as well as fat, in my old age
<sigh>
evile [12:30]: Most of my dreams have soundtracks & I don't usually
remember anything after I wake up...I haven't done any lucid dreaming
in a long time.
SkyeDS [12:35]: I wish I could lucid dream
SkyeDS [12:35]: I have control over what I'm doing
SkyeDS [12:35]: but I have no control over the outcome, no matter
what I choose to do.
evile [12:36]: *nod*
evile [12:38]: I guess maybe you just don't have as much closure as
you'd like...which I kind of felt with X as well, but the thing
with the cops pretty much forced closure.
SkyeDS [12:39]: when they got busted? or did something else happen?
evile [12:40]: when they got busted, and then all of her various self-
serving emails after that that kind of made me go "wow, there's
nothing to save here"
SkyeDS [12:42]: I think I'm being tested.
SkyeDS [12:42]: since it was obviously just too easy for me to ignore
him
evile [12:43]: so he's being offensive in hopes that you will pay
attention to him?
SkyeDS [12:43]: he obviously can't do this on his own.
SkyeDS [12:43]: some power that be is helping him
SkyeDS [12:43]: no doubt to teach me a lesson with adversity and all
that jazz.
SkyeDS [12:44]: well, nothing breeds success like the very first
success, so bring it on I say :)
evile [12:44]: *nod* good luck :)
SkyeDS [12:44]: I remember in the movie Stigmata that it is said that
those who are closest to God receive the worst torment from Satan.
SkyeDS [12:45]: of course, he could hurt me by doing something to
hurt the horses (he hasn't got a shot at Arthur)
evile [12:45]: he doesn't have a car, though, right?
SkyeDS [12:45]: but I think he knows that sineater and sonar0m will hunt
him down, torture him and give him a slow painful death if anything
happens to t he girls.
evile [12:46]: *nod* me too. I dont' care how crappy a person may be,
their pets are innocent and nobody should take out their anger on an
animal.
evile [12:47]: (not saying your'e crappy, btw..that came out wrong)
SkyeDS [12:47]: I understood your intent :)
SkyeDS [12:47]: and I am/have been crappy
SkyeDS [12:47]: I'm working on that.
evile [12:47]: Hell, I wouldn't kick W's dog, it can't help the
behavior of its master.
evile [12:48]: And I did offer to help find homes for X's pets
after the cop raid...
evile [12:49]: also offered to help the children, in the only way I
felt would be 'safe' for all concerned, because despite the behavior
they're being taught, they're still innocent.
SkyeDS [12:49]: how sad, to be unhappy and to react to unhappiness by
looking at people around you who are happy, take that as a personal
attack upon yourself, and feel the need to attack them back, trying
to drag them down to be miserable with you.
SkyeDS [12:51]: Cicero was one of Rome's greatest lawyers, and used
ad hominem to great effect. Coming from most people, though, ad homs
are an admission of defeat.
evile [12:52]: I mean, heck, the Jews have made a practice of
gethering together to debate scripture and interpretation, and htey
consider it as a matter of faith & community to do so.
SkyeDS [12:53]: I don't see why a personal statement of what I
believe should be seen as an attack on anybody else.
evile [12:53]: And you can certianly disagree with someone
respectfullly, without insulting them.
evile [12:53]: *nod* exactly
SkyeDS [12:53]: it's like when I would say "Hi!" to my MIL, and she'd
respond with a very suspicious "what did you mean by that?!"
evile [12:53]: she's nuts.
SkyeDS [12:53]: she's doing better.
SkyeDS [12:54]: something else I"d like to say that I won't is, look,
you say you have a girlfriend now, she has four cats, and everything
else you've always said you wanted. Now, why can't you just go away,
if you're so happy?

SkyeDS [12:55]: I'm happy for you, now go be happy for yourself. If
not, then just go play in traffic, thank you, have a nice day, please
