evile: I'm going to see if I can get a group to go see the Zilker
Trail of Lights at some point. Disappointed that Mom and stepdad won't
get to see it, since it ends the 23rd
SkyeDS: reminds me, call and find out where the local Rockdale trail
is.
evile: there's an idea...If they go out to L & B's land, they
might be able to see the ones in Marble Falls. Very small compared to
Zilker, but heartfelt & fun.
SkyeDS: for us - Rockdale closer to home, and we can ride the Trail,
can't at Zilker.
SkyeDS: actually, don't know that I can't, but bet it would be a
struggle regardless
evile: a) no parking anywhere near Zilker for truck and trailer and
b) I am pretty sure I read no pets somewhere..
evile: maybe no pets is just on the capital metro shuttles, which is
how you get down there...
SkyeDS: well, as Zilker is not one of the parks that allows horses, I
would imagine that's the end of that.
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: it isn't like I haven't got enough things to do already anyway
SkyeDS: and any trail of lights makes me happy, I'm easily amused :)
evile: If polys scheduled during the week, would you come after work,
no critters?
SkyeDS: anywhere I go after work is no critters :P
evile: Just tossing out possibilities, seeing if you were coming from
a 'no critters, no lights' pov, or what.
SkyeDS: I don't really care to do polystuff without sineater, but if he
wanted to go, I would go with, sure
evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: my energy just doesn't seem to fit with most of the energies
there, and I don't want to drag anyone else down (nor be dragged down
myself)
evile: I can certainly empathize.
evile: I've had off nights at poly dinner before, too.
SkyeDS: there are some days when I wish I had a direct door to the
bathroom (my office shares a wall)

SkyeDS: let me know when the polys are going and I'll ask sineater
evile: well, so far nobody has written back on the yahoo group...like
I said, it's been kind of dead. Maybe I should just pick a date at
some point and say 'there it is, be there or be square'
SkyeDS: the primary consideration anytime we look at doing things
after work is how late will we be up on a work night (hour drive home
and all that)
SkyeDS: I usually have to wheedle anytime I want to do something
after work. Like last night, I offered to take him to dinner.

bigger than that?
SkyeDS: it's just text, I doubt it
evile: I didn't think so, but that might be the hangup.
SkyeDS: when Hugh leaves I"ll try hotmailing it
