2 hours and $118 later, I find out I've got basically
"swimmers ear". All that icky for nothing but an
external ear infection. Eardrums are intact, middle
ear, inner ear are fine. I got some antibiotic steroid
ear drops and 6 vicodin (which I think is kinda wierd,
but I'll take 'em, no telling when I'll have bad
cramps or a nasty headache or something and really
    need them.)

    *shrug*

I still haven't gotten the Agreement. I think she
didn't send it and is just playing some kind of game
with me, just to say that she has something I want and
she's not giving it to me. *shrug* I let her know
yesterday that the email did not go through, and she
said she re-sent it, and that's all the gratification
I am going to give her on that.

I'm feeling better today--I think I'm finally ready to
take up all the stuff I let drop late last week,
including following up on some odd phone calls from a
couple of people I consider mere acquaintances, who
are calling me for 'advice' on unspecified topics.
    WTH.

I stepped in a metaphor this morning. I wandered, sleep-fogged and
congested, into the bathroom this morning, whereupon I planted my
foot in a giant pile of chilled, congealed, smelly, gooey Pepper-shit.

She had, apparently, in the middle of the night, taken a dump on the
monkey rug. I took her for a long, long walk when I got home, and
she didn't crap once! We went by all of her favorite spots - bubkes.

I sure hope this isn't one of those signs that I should have stayed
    home....

Too bad about the waste of time/money, but it probably is better to
know that it's something relatively minor. Hopefully, the eardrops
    will clear it up quicker.

You are probably right re: skye_ds. Stupid drama queen twat. :)

what a way to start the day! Icks! I hope that wasn't
an omen, too. Think of it as that saying about eating
    a live frog every day.

Skye_ds *is* a fucknut. She's getting better, though, so
it's not as entertaining. And then of course in
comparison with Rubber_pig, she's not really that
distressing. I imagine her Relationship Contract is
probably disappointingly sane and fair-sounding, while
    the actual relationship(s?) itself (themself?)
continues to be considerably insane and unfair to her
    partner(s?).

sineater is pestering me about a Decemberween party. Not
gonna happen. It's possible that since Mom & stepdad
decided to visit TX from around Xmastime to New Years,
I might have family over for food sometime, but that's
    it.

You definitely don't need the stress of a big party - I agree with
you on that one!!! A smallish, low-key gathering of family is one
    thing. A big bash? Fuhgeddaboudit.

I don't know that saying about the live frog. But eating one sounds
    far worse than stepping dogshit.

I am sure you're right about her agreement. It would be just like
her to have this totally normal concept/perception in her head, and
have the reality be totally insane. You're right, though - it sounds
like she's gotten better, and she's surely not as off her rocker as
    Rubber_pig is.
