(some stuff didn't make it, I had to reboot, talking about her
wnating to hang with the snarky bitches, but not without Sharjinka)

evile: back. that was a hassle.
SkyeDS: wb. Hugh prefers the Fonzi method of dealing with his puter
problems

evile: it's apparently some kind of zen thing.
evile: I had some kind of adware or spyware on my computer that was
screwing stuff up. My yahoo radio, most notably. Nobody better mess
iwth my music!!!
SkyeDS: amen sister
SkyeDS: I'm running ad-aware, spybot on both machines every day, and
virus scan every day on mine, and as often as he's away from the
office on his (which thankfully is at least once a week)
evile: *nod* I'm not allowed to download anyhting. We have Mcaffee
virus scan, but I think it misses things. I wish I coudl download
something better. even if I had to buy it and install it....
SkyeDS: nods, I know. I am blessed with much more puter freedom than
you, Sineater, sonar0m, onyxlynxx, et al (at work)
evile: yup.
evile: our IT people aren't that competent, and we've outsourced top
level admin, so I doubt I'd get caught..but still.
SkyeDS: why risk it
evile: exactly. I'd be the 1 person who'd get nailed to the wall,
after all my coworkers have games and screensavers and pictures of
their kids and I don't know what-all.
evile: went shopping for my workshop goodies last night, found almost
everything I need. CM tonight should finish it up.
SkyeDS: CM is cool
evile: too expensive, but yeah.
SkyeDS: expensive is ok for special, and if it's worth it.
evile: yeah. OMG< at whole foods, I found Dagoba drinking chocolate,
flavored with cinnamon and chile.
SkyeDS: that sounds SO good (specially right now)
evile: I had a cup as soon as I got home--warmed up milk on the stove
& everything.
evile: maybe I'll bring some in a thermos to polydinner tonite.
evile: I addet your boy sonar0m to my LJ friends list recently, BTW
SkyeDS: lol I saw, you're going to get headaches
evile: *shrug* I can always fix it so I don't have to read him.
evile: has reading me hurt his brain yet?
evile: (of course, I haven't added him to my poly or kinky filters,
just generic 'friends')
evile: Ugh. Nolan caught some kind of bug from his new GF and now he
wants to go to polydinner with me. HE doesn't want to be sick for Big
Fun, but has no conscience about possibly infecting everyone at poly
dinner.
SkyeDS: yuck
evile: He's a selfish little guy, that's for sure...I really hope he
has a sinking spell and decides he's too sick to go.
SkyeDS: Hugh and I agree on our distaste for people who ought to know
they're contagious coming into work anyway
evile: my coworkers are notorious fo rthis.
SkyeDS: it was bad at State Farm too. of course if you didn't come
in while you were dying you got fired.
evile: there's not anything like that around here. I have no idea why
people come ot work and snot on me.
SkyeDS: stupid (deliberate) or ignorant (not deliberate)
evile: *shrug* I suppose a lot of flue like symptoms could be
mistaken for allergies.
SkyeDS: the sr ptr's secretary was a vegan and was always sick,
coming into work, getting everyone else sick, and bitching at people
for staying home sick (when she got them that way)
evile: ugh.
SkyeDS: I'm glad I didn't go perm there, although it was offered,
benefits or no
evile: toxic workplace, quite literally. No thanks.
SkyeDS: guess I"m go ing to go get it over with
