One of my coworkers apparently had something especially tasty for
breakfast, was smacking and sucking his teeth audibly for a good
while.
The restrooms on our floor are out of order so I had to go to another
floor. As I'm waiting for the elevator this woman gets off and walks
straight for me, saying "Excuse me" in the tone which suggests that
she's actually using those 2 words as verbal shorthand for "out of my
way, bitch"--there were PLENTY of other places for her to step out of
the elevator without running me over. But no, I was in her way, god
forbid.
ANNNND my headphones fell on the floor and one earpiece broke :(
*sigh*
I wanna go home & go back to bed.
Saw Kill Bill V2 last night at the Alamo. I'm afraid that for all the
action adventure trappings, at base the story is merely about that
phenomenon which us office worker-bees know only too well: coworker
gets knocked up and quits without another word.
The concept that she had to give up who and what she was in order
to be a good mother, while Bill was apparently a good father and had
NOT given up his personality or habits, really offends me.
Don't mind me...I'm sour today!

J-Law:
ERRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHhh! How irritating. I
especially hate the elevator thing. One of our building's security
people did that to me once. I couldn't believe it.
You know - that's a very interesting insight re: Kill Bill. I
literally never thought of it like that.
Me:
Never Tempt the Forces of Chaos.
I was 2 bites into lunch when we had a fire drill
which robbed me of the rest of my lunch hour. It was a
pleasant day outside, sunny & cool, nice breeze...but,
STILL.
It'll be interesting to see the DVDs of Kill Bill 1&2,
I think. Possibly more background on certain
characters & stuff. They were definitely good to look
at--lots of action, cool costumes, great sets, etc.
Anyway...back to the grindstone, I guess.

Really, don't fuck with Eris.
I'm trying to do processing. Seems like every other one I pull out
has NO discernable difference between the local office decision and
the hearing officer decision. So what, exactly, is it I'm supposed to
be "processing"?
And another case where I'm changing the dates on an ineligibility,
and it first shows 'eligible' and now shows 'open period' even though
I've clearly put in a start date AND an end date, which open pds
don't have.
URRRRRRGHHHHH!
