Friday: Donn's Depot with Austin NO Kidding. It was nice. New person,
Lisa. Very talkative, very outgoing. Lovely lady. Dinner at Hut's
with everyone. I had a good time but must remember not to stay the
whole time every time=pitiful. Donn's Depot is a wierd little place,
lots of old guys watching sports, decorated like....? Train
depot/train memorabilia. boxcars.
Saturday: grocery shopping very early. Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Morning,
Petsmart, MacFrugal's, Central Market. 7 hours. Just for baking
supplies, containers for baked stuff for xmas presents, wrapping
paper, and Ben's B-day. Took a nap. Then took Al to work. Got my
dremel back from him & borrowed paints. Need brushes! Tom & I rented
movies: Big, Office Space, and Pecker. Watched Office Space & Pecker,
sewed on Xmas ornaments.
Sunday: Studied for test in T&T Sales & Marketing. Spent most of the
day in PJ's. Took _Uther_ by Jack Whyte back to the library= too heavy
to bother with hauling it back to work, not gonna read it anymore.
Series book, but not clearly marked as such on front. Not very good,
sloppy work because series books always do that.
Nothing really much. Followed up on chemise order some more: she
offered 20% discount on future orders OR a white cotton hip length
chemise. I took the extra chemise, since I won't be able to do any
faire stuff for a while. :(
Spent some of this morning looking for more cookie recipes. I guess
I'll be doing lots of baking for Xmas prezzies. Found some nice ones.
Cookies are easy & people like them. Except for diabetic folks; dont'
know what to do about them!
Will email reminders to ppl re: Celtic Xmas in Garden in the Heights.
No PNO this month, I don't think. Fuck that crap. I can stay at home
and feel lonely & excluded.
Listening to a compilation tape I did when I was at DePauw. I woke up
with "she ain't pretty" in my head again, so I found the tape I made
with that song on it.
I need to spend more time studying. I hope I can discipline myself to
do so.
