Quora: Should I send screenshots if the narcs hoover attempt to his new supply/wife?

 

Absolutely NOT. no no no no no!

If you do, here’s what will happen:

New target will show your screenshots to the narcissist.

Narcissist will say “fake news! That person is a jealous ex. They made it up. Those screeen shots are

1. faked
2. photoshopped
3. taken out of context"

etc etc. The narc will make you out to the the bad, crazy, jealous, stalker, liar, bla bla bla. and the new target will believe every word out of their mouth. The narc will use this drama to cement their hold on their new target—they like to create dramatic situations where it’s “me and you against the world, baby!” and the new target will feel protective of the narc, and feel special and chosen by the narc, to be in this wonderful situation where they are in a Big Drama together, fighting against all the LIARS and STALKERS of the world who are just jealous of the narc’s love and happiness and just want to ruin it for them and their new target.

Narc will feel very important and special, with all of this excitement and drama and attention focused on them! Bonus! They got your attention and got your goat! Woohoo! Happy day for the Narc!

Basically there is nothing you can do or say to the narc and their new supply that will go in your favor or make you look like the good person in the situation. Just stay away, live your own life, ignore them, and let the new target learn the hard and painful lessons themselves.

After all, what would YOU have thought in the early, dazzling, love-bombing days of your relationship with the Narc-Abuser if some random person had come in and tried to warn YOU? The narc might have already told you stories about their psycho ex, after all, and made you wary of listening to or trusting that person, or you might have just been too much in love and happy to listen to anyone trying to warn you that the new relationship was too much, too soon, and too good to be real.

Leave that mess alone. Nothing good can come from being involved with a toxic person and their attempts at drama. Block them, go No Contact!  Go on with your healing far away from that person.  good luck!!
