Sweetie got in from drinking & whatnot around 2 or maybe closer to 3, and
was up around 5:30 being sick. Not from alcohol I don't think. I hope
    it's not contagious and I don't get it. Bleh. I don't guess we'll be
going to wings & beer tonight. I emailed Peglegasus and Jaime to let them know
Sweetie was at home & sick when I left this morning.

Tonight is either skate night or Krav Maga. I'll call [Cousin B] and see what
he feels like doing. I could do either, really. [Cousin B] spent the summer
alternating between the gym and riding 10-20 miles on his bike, and now
that he has a social life, he isn't working out so much and [aunt L] (of
all people!) was telling me last night 'he needs to get exercise'--
after encouraging him to be lazy and overeat all summer, and basically
bragging on her own poor eating and exercise habits. I don't guess she
gets that kids follow what you do more than what you say, and adjust
their behavior & priorities to reflect the example you set...she feeds
him up like a prize pig and encourages him to sit and visit, watch TV,
drink soda, and then gets mad because he's letting himself go a bit?
ugh. Oh well. I'll keep doing my best to encourage him to have
    healthier habits.

the part about wooded areas & parking garages amused me for some
    reason..

    Good morning Monday
I had a fabulous weekend. The weather was just beautiful and the
    company was perfect.
I have a new fetish for parking garages and wooded areas.
I finally got to see Nightmare before Christmas.
I took a good step in the communication direction.

Went to a fundraiser on Sunday where I got to see Michael give birth
on the big screen again. I was a little less tweaked this time. It
wasn't actually the birth scene that was weird it was the makeup in
the last scene that gets me. I think he is very handsome in whatever
he wears or doesn't wear, but blue eye shadow is just not his look.
Also watched a wonderfully done short by the name of "The Perils of
    Nude Modeling"

I got to see Serenity again last night. Contrary to what certain sexy
movie companions might say, I did not cry I sniffled a bit but there
were dry eyes here. It was still very sad at the end and I wanted to
cry and internally I was sobbing but I missed Zoe in the slinky dress
last time and I didn't want to miss it again. That woman just does
    naughty things to my mind.

Also I don't understand the concept of women refusing to be sexual
when their head hurts. My hormones don't give a rat's ass. Nor do
they care if I am about to fall over asleep. One minute I am yawning
and wanting to curl up asleep and the next I am wound up and nothing
else matters but the feel of warm flesh pressed against mine. The
same with the headache, I have a head? The head is aching? Who cares!

    The week ahead:

Monday: Nada, probably go grocery shopping and then home to read and
    go to bed early.

    Tuesday: Nada

    Wednesday: Nada

Thursday: First Thursday poly dinner at Whole Foods or game night

    Friday: No clue

Saturday and Sunday: Working on film set.

I don't suppose he'd believe that someone can be loved purely for
themselves, and not because they were finally 'doing something right'
ie: whatever 'Skye' wants, and no thoughts or actions that are not
    for and about her. :(

Skye has been spoiling me outrageously. :))) You'll never guess!!!
She surprised me with a leather frock coat! It's tres spif. Here's
how I look in it. [http://kazza.id.au/mt-

    Well, minus the eyeshadow.
She has a matching one and ohh, she looks soo hawwwt in it. >;>
And then she surprised me again. Totally unexpected, and very much
    appreciated.
She got me a dragon mask. I had lusted after these masks when I first
saw them years ago, and never got one... I could never afford one :
((( When I saw the man in the dragon outfit at Table Rock I mentioned
    it. And..!!!
She really surprised me with that one. I'm so tickled.
I really must be doing something right to be so loved. :)

Update: Oh! She beat me to the post.

Ok, a few people have been pestering me about what I was going to
update about the Square. (And I have decided I'm going to call it a
square because calling it a quad, to me, implies that all four are
equally involved.) So, it's been a little over a month since ample
and I met tharagor and his lovely wife tory78. And in that time,
things have become so very comfortable. They have been over every
weekend since Labour Day and I'm not getting sick of them yet. In
fact, I look forward to thier visits. Things are going well. I
offically asked tory78 to be my girlfriend a little over a week ago
and both ample and tharagor have established thier relationship at
    the same level.

Sometimes things can seem be too good to be true. Sometimes this
seems like it is. I keep having to pinch myself to assure myself that
    I am indeed not dreaming.

    evile: hi :)
    SkyeDS: hola chica :)
    evile: how's your Tuesday?
    SkyeDS: wet, yours?
evile: pretty much same here. Not worth putting up the umbrella this
a.m. going for the bus, just kind of middling-dreary.
    SkyeDS: nods
evile: open house at onyxlynxx's dojo was nice.
SkyeDS: glad yo uhad a good time at faire too
evile: Yeah. Too big to see and do everything you want to do, but
    still great fu.
    evile: N

SkyeDS: where do you get your online horoscopes that you put in your
    lj?
    evile: Um? dunno?
    evile: which one?
    SkyeDS: any of them
evile: all different places. yahoo. real astrology.com. I try to be
good about linnking to where I got htem from, but sometimes I forget.
evile: or if I gank them from someone else's LJ, and they havent'
attirubted it, obviously I can't, either.
    SkyeDS: nods
evile: if you have a specific LJ entry you're reading I could look
at it and try to recall where I got it from....
SkyeDS: no that's ok, those two work just fine :)
    SkyeDS: was just curious
    evile: OK
SkyeDS: seem like good ones lately, why I was curious
SkyeDS: I have a good online source for tarot, just wanted one for
    astrology
    evile: *nod*
evile: I priced out my bed, with all my options and shipping.
$1284.94. Unless Sweetie has major objections, I think I'm ordering it.
    SkyeDS: awesome! :D
evile: I can charge it & get it paid off by January if I am diligent.
SkyeDS: I was looking at the damage Arthur's done to the arms of the
couch. I bought that loveseat and sofa the year I graduated UT.
    Need new ones.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: the sofa's a full 8 feet, hope I can find another 8 footer
SkyeDS: was thinking a sleeper sofa might be a wise investment
evile: I want one, too, but Sweetie is not so keen on that idea.
evile: I think he thinks it won't be as comfortable to sit on as a
regular one. We will just have to go out and try stuff until he is
    convinced.
    SkyeDS: good idea
evile: finding time when both of us are free to shop....that's tough.
    SkyeDS: dark outside
evile: I know. It makes me sleepy!
SkyeDS: I want a fire and hot soup
    evile: yup!
evile: [aunt L]'s doing soup in the crock pot tonight. I think I'll eat
    there tonight :)
SkyeDS: this is good crockpot weather innit
evile: yup, it really is :)
evile: well, fuck. Sweetie's home sick today
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: Jaime says it's a thing that's been going around their bunch.
His new GF had it last week. 3 days of spewing from both ends. *loads
up on vitamin C*--I am NOT getting this one!
    SkyeDS: nods
evile: then again, I take better care of myself in general I think,
    so maybe I won't
    SkyeDS: fingers crossed
evile: See, I knew there was a reason I didn't stay up until after 2
    drinking beer 2-3 nights a week :P
SkyeDS: living an hour away from w ork prevents me from it even if I
    wanted to
evile: getting up at 6 a.m. and being grouchy with anything less than
7 hrs sleep a night prevent me from it :P
evile: back to horoscopes--Julie (SCA Julie) says ivillage.com has
    good ones.
SkyeDS: nods, I think I've visited there a few times before
evile: too many pop ups, though
    SkyeDS: I like firefox's popupblocking
    evile: me too.
SkyeDS: one of these days, he's going to insist that I do something
like drive off a cliff because he's right and I'm wrong about
gravity. And I'm going to ignore him, and he's going to fire me.
evile: that's why you have your contract, I s'pose.

SkyeDS: we're actually comfortable enough now that I could afford to
look for a good long time if he does.
    evile: *nod*
evile: aww :) April is so cute. she just gave me the sweetest LJ
    comment :)
    evile: http://www.livejournal.com/users/darque_lazarus/38134.html?
    thread=48374#t48374
evile: *all warm & fuzzy now*
SkyeDS: I wonder if it's protected
SkyeDS: I'm not on DL's friends list
    evile: Oh,maybe. I didn't check.
    evile: yeah, it is.
"I really enjoy spending time with you, you are really a fantastic,
funny, sweet, wonderful gal, very glad we met you :)"
    SkyeDS: :D
evile: The 4 of them were so cute at the Drafthouse Sunday night.
evile: I had basically said that to D_L, that it was cute to see them
all having such a great time together, to see poly working out so
well. April basically said she knows that they're being too cute and
making people sick, but she doesn't care, she's happy, and then the
    nice thing about me :)
SkyeDS: I knew there were 3, I didn't know there were 4, cool
evile: I love to see my friends happy.
SkyeDS: that's a lot more balanced usually
    SkyeDS: quads are, over triads
evile: (as long as they aren't like humping each other's legs and
such in public...but the 4 of them were very sweet and not vulgar at
    all)
SkyeDS: 3 women, one man? 2 women 2 men?
    evile: 2 guys 2 gals.
SkyeDS: very good balance there. Noel had a quad like that for like
    8 years (with children)
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: people talk about how poly relationships only seem to last 5 -
8 years. But is that so different than many mono relationships?
SkyeDS: and, what about the quality of time together as opposed to
quantity of time (quantity = length)
evile: IMHO, if you're out there trying to defend or justify your
existence, you're not spending enough time enjoying it. reprioritize
and enjoy your own life & choices, ya know?
SkyeDS: Never explain (defend or justify either). Your enemies won't
listen and your friends don't need it.
    evile: yup
evile: well, it's about time for me to pack up an toss papers and get
    gone. Have a good evening.
