evile: happy hump day (for real this time...I still can't believe I
thought it was Wednesday for most of Yesterday. :P)
    SkyeDS: lol ;)
SkyeDS: I have spent some of the morning looking up greek recipes.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: since I can actually have potatoes in moderation, and all the
broccoli, artichokes, spinach, cheese, salmon and shrimp I want
SkyeDS: greek cooking and shopping at whole foods will make life good
    evile: :) yup.
evile: I might go to Pyramids on Saturday evening for dinner & to see
if Leyla is dancing. Apparently that's one of her semi-regular gigs.
    SkyeDS: how's the food there?
evile: Everything I've had has been fine. Since I don't know much
about it, I stick to things I know.
evile: pretty hard to mess up a kebab.
SkyeDS: a friend of mine is supposed to be getting handfasted
saturday and I'm supposed to be there
SkyeDS: she has yet to email or IM me directions or anything else
SkyeDS: and what I really want to do saturday is spend the day in
    Whole Foods
evile: aww. :) well, I hope you get directions soon :)
SkyeDS: and Pyramids would be cool if you say the food is good
evile: I haven't adventured much with the menu, like I said. Stuck
with things whose names I recognized.
evile: Lebanese iced tea was a nice surprise, I'm glad I tried that.
SkyeDS: Jubilee made me drink Thai tea, it was good
evile: is that like Chai? tea with spices and milk?
SkyeDS: you have to drink it through a humongous straw because it has
balls of I don't know what exactly floating in it
    SkyeDS: it was very sweet
    evile: sounds like bubble tea.
    evile: it's tapioca, probably.
evile: shoot, my IE is about to blow up, I think. If I disappear,
    that's why.
    SkyeDS: k
evile: well, OK maybe not. It kept popping up with a box asking for
my username and password for the local network....which was wierd. I
hit cancel a few times and it quit. WTF.
SkyeDS: I was supposed to have lunch with someone today, which got
rescheduled for a not-rainy day (better for walking around downtown)
SkyeDS: and of course, I have nothing here to eat
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I am so tempted to go down tot hat little chinese place, eat
    there and read my book
SkyeDS: but I could just as easily get it and bring it back here and
    read my book
evile: *nod* sounds like a nice way to spend a lunch hour+
SkyeDS: except I normally don't take lunch hours, which would make my
    day an hour longer
SkyeDS: but I don't think Hugh would really care
evile: *nod* Not if you're up on all that needs to be done & such,
    I'm sure.
SkyeDS: and it won't kill me to bring it back here
SkyeDS: nothing going on, phone not ringing off hook
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: in my head, rainy day = hot soup
evile: *nod* yup. I love hot & sour soup.
SkyeDS: it's ordered, going to go pick it up
SkyeDS: shouldn't be more than half an hour :)
    evile: OK :)
    SkyeDS: bbiab

    SkyeDS: bk
    evile: welcome back :)
SkyeDS: had to have a little math lesson
SkyeDS: the kid they had behind the register didn't grok that 4.95
    + .25 + tax does not equal 6.20, but 5.6`
    SkyeDS: 5.61.
    evile: oops.
    SkyeDS: "we're under new management"
SkyeDS: ok, where is your latest menu? he shows me one just like the
one I have here, and it reflects no changes in prices
SkyeDS: so I have to take his calculator and show him
    SkyeDS: <shrug>
    evile: bizarre!
SkyeDS: what are they teaching these kids these days, they can't do
    math with a calculator, eh.
    evile: sad.
evile: [Cousin B]'s coming back from Indiana tonight :)
    SkyeDS: :)
evile: got email from Mom this a.m., they've had a nice visit. Only
sad thing was the little Greencastle girl B. has crushies on has a
    BF.
    SkyeDS: :(
evile: Well, that's life, I suppose. B. will survive. And he starts
a new school year in a couple of weeks, he'll have plenty of new
    girls to crush on.
    SkyeDS: nods
evile: and lots of little girls crushing on him, too, I'm sure. :P
    SkyeDS: no doubt
evile: My theory is if I can keep up with him, or even attempt to,
    I'll definitely get fitter :P
SkyeDS: that was my original theory about the horse
SkyeDS: of course if I was working with her every single day like I
should be doing, it would be true too
evile: he wants to go kayaking, and try krav maga, and Aunt L thinks
it'll be good for him to do yoga, too.
    SkyeDS: nodnodnods
SkyeDS: kayaking looks like fun. I've only been canoeing.
evile: I would worry about turning over and not being able to either
turn it back over or get out and drowning..but other than that...I'm
    up for it.
SkyeDS: unless they make a kayak to fit a short 22 extra fat, that
leaves me out for the time being.
evile: I hadn't thought about that...I might not be able to do it
either. But canoing, for sure. They rent both at town lake for the
    day for $15-25
SkyeDS: interesting fortune cookie for a witch to get = "the next
full moon will bring an enchanting evening"
evile: you coming ot the play tomorrow?
SkyeDS: would have liked to but too much stuff to do
    SkyeDS: particularly around the rain
evile: *nod* I am hoping it won't rain us out.
SkyeDS: driving the black truck in the rain is nervewracking
    SkyeDS: it fishtails easily
SkyeDS: and that makes people driving like idiots in front of me scary
SkyeDS: I am SO glad I have my own office
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: Hugh had this big beach towel here for I don'ot know what
    reason, and I appropriated it
SkyeDS: I use it as a bib
    evile: *smiles*
SkyeDS: I don't even want to begin to think about how to get greasy
chinese out of my brand new purple silk dress.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: s'okay to laugh, I look pretty funny :P
    evile: hey, whatever works :P
SkyeDS: my two new skirts came.
    evile: cool :)
SkyeDS: it occurs to me if I made some of those skirt ties I could
wear them one over the other
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I don't know why I couldn't use silk ribbon for ties
SkyeDS: I don't know how long they need to be or how exactly they
attach to keep the top skirt from sliding around inside the ties, but
Jubi made a pair of skirts with ties, so I'll ask her.
evile: yup. I''m sure she'll be glad to help you out :)
evile: *sigh* I'm still not thrilled about Shady Grove, but walking
beforehand will be cool, and I'll be happy to see people. It'll be
interesting if Hunter comes out. I think he is laboring under the
    delusion that I'm a sub.
    SkyeDS: LOL
SkyeDS: no sooner does it stop raining then it becomes a sauna outside
evile: yup. welcome to july in TX. Mom says theyve been having rain
    storms daily--lots of humidity.
evile: Hunter seems like a very nice person, so I won't have as much
fun laying the smackdown on his wouldbe Dom-ness as I might
otherwise. But it will still be amusing, I'm sure.
SkyeDS: I'm a switch but more to the point a dilettante
SkyeDS: and if someone who I had not offered myself as a sub to tried
domming me without said express invitation
SkyeDS: s/he'd be drawing back nubs.
evile: Ive had to do that a bit at GWNN/Voyagers stuff, but those
were strangers that I didn't care to get to know better, so it didn't
matter if I hurt them, or how badly.
evile: OTOH, I actually like Hunter and think he's a fairly nice
person aside from the domly-dom BS.
SkyeDS: nods. I still think that it's a little rude to dom someone
    without invitation
SkyeDS: but then there's a lot more that I don't know than that I do
know, and maybe that's to be expected around unattached subs
evile: thus far it's been more of an interpersonal vibe type thing,
no actual attempts. But I need to set him straight before he
    embarasses himself.
SkyeDS: firm but gentle is good :)
evile: I could always let him into the kink filter :P But...I dont'
feel I know him well enough for that.
evile: then again, it's pretty dead these days. People haven't really
seemed that interested, so I'm not encouraged to continue putting
    thoughts/ideas out there.
evile: I have a couple of completely unworkable-in-rl fantasies that
    I've been...entertaining...myself with lately. But I dont' think I'll
    share them.
SkyeDS: if they are entertaining to you then to me they'd be utterly
    fascinating
    evile: doubt it.
SkyeDS: you have a much more vivid imagination for such things than I
    do.
    evile: *shrug* I wouldn't know...
SkyeDS: I'd be willing to wager.
evile: I really dont' have any idea what you like or are into, so,
    *shrug* No clue.
SkyeDS: I"m just kinky enough not to be vanilla and just vanilla
    enough not to be kinky
evile: I was surprised/disappointed that nobody ever responded to
    this.
    http://www.livejournal.com/users/bramblekite/140955.html

SkyeDS: never heard of mummification LOL
evile: I've seen a couple of demos now. It's interesting...but not
    particularly stimulating.
SkyeDS: I am in almost perfect agreement with what you already said
SkyeDS: except anal doesn't bother me done not painfully
SkyeDS: haven't played with fire yet but sounds cool
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: and I'm willing to tolerate watersport in t he bathtub or
shower, depending on how far and with whom
SkyeDS: somehow I doubt you really wanted to know that
SkyeDS: I can tolerate just about anything but I don't like marks and
    I don't like pain
SkyeDS: not counting bite and claw marks
SkyeDS: have occasionally gone overboard with the biting and clawing
    <looks sheepish>
evile: yeah, well. who hasn't :P
SkyeDS: you definitely have a wider range of scene specific musical
    knowledge than I do
SkyeDS: one of these days I"d like to sit down and take notes
evile: *shrug* Haven't done much of anything with it.
SkyeDS: My friend Max is always sending me visuals of various devices
that are ugly looking, make the victim ugly looking and inflict pain
    SkyeDS: sorry, but no
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: bondage withOUT pain yes, pain, just, no.
SkyeDS: I think because of my behavior out of the bedroom it is
assumed I'm a domme in the bedroom, but it's the opposite more often
    than not.
SkyeDS: came across the community reading first, then through videos
SkyeDS: those same two things along with music are the mood
    influencers too
evile: *nod* Likewise, just because I'm polite and somewhat
deferential to new/wiser people in RL does not mean I won't tie them
up and make them cry in another context :P
SkyeDS: I haven't played in a long time, nor have I combined any of
my theatrical stuff with play, and I don't really know why not
SkyeDS: I bought the loveliest pair of boots that I don't wear at
all, I don't know why that is either
SkyeDS: actually they aren't suited for anything but play because of
    the heels
SkyeDS: given my reputation for overly wild imagination, I don't
    have much imagination
SkyeDS: all the things I actually like the feel of, leather cat of
nines, feathers, ice, candlewax, various food items, all rather
    mundane
    evile: *nod*
evile: D found a really nice candle at that mermaid moon place, the
wax melts into an oil that you can just rub in to the skin. Smells
nice, doesn't make a mess. I'm definitely getting some a those.
    SkyeDS: are they online?
evile: I dont' think so. :(
    SkyeDS: aw man
SkyeDS: those sound cool, specially in like cinnamon, honey or
    chocolate
evile: D's was rose. It was truly lovely--no icky fake rose smell,
    smelled like the fresh flower.
SkyeDS: maybe setting aside a day for kink/play would be a good
reward for losing weight/getting more into shape.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I'm lookin at those over/underskirts. Seems like the ties
    are like oldfashioned garter ties.
SkyeDS: they don't actually go all the way around the skirt, they are
sewn into the waistline and attach to the bottom of the skirt
    evile: cool :)
SkyeDS: which is why the skirt wouldn't slide around
    evile: yup
SkyeDS: but I still don't see why I can't afro-engineer some of my
    own that don't attach permanently
SkyeDS: if it doesn't work to actually wrap a length of ribbon all
the way around and tie it, I could fasten it with those little itty
    bitty golden safety pins
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: when I was originally playing around with it I had the purple
on top of the green, but the boys both said they liked green over
    purple better
    SkyeDS: teal rather
    evile: *nod*
evile: I think the logic, way back when, was to wear the less
valuable fabric over the more valuable one, to offer some protection
    to the pricier fabric.
    SkyeDS: makes good sense
SkyeDS: same logic as an apron
    evile: *nod*
evile: I'd been doing mostly earth tones. Lately I've been liking
orange and red, for faire garb, anyway.
SkyeDS: love red, have been trying to stay away from it for reasons
of historicity (romany taboo and all that)
SkyeDS: but my favorite black tribal skirt still has a band of red
    sari silk on the bottom
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: and I have a lovely choli of the same red sari silk to wear
with it but it doesn't fit :(
SkyeDS: I'm thinking in the meanwhile I"m going to take it apart,
make the sleeves entirely separate, and put grommets and laces in at
the shoulders and under the arms on the bodice itself
SkyeDS: I want a pattern to make dancing armband sleeves with but I'm
    not finding one
SkyeDS: nor do costume suppliers seem inclined to sell them
separately the way they do everything else
    evile: that would be cool.

SkyeDS: I keep being tempted to buy another choli with the dropped
    tribal/spanish sleeves
    evile: *nod* those are pretty
SkyeDS: but then I keep thinking, I have two cholis, and how hard
could it be to just put the dropped tribal/spanish sleeves on the
    ones I've already got.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: but then, there are a lot of things I think about doing, and
think how hard could it be, and I don't actually do - one of my many
    failings
evile: No worries, it happens to everyone, I think. I am overrrun
    with UFOs.
SkyeDS: I was going to start trick and lateral training last night
but it was still too wet after the afternoon shower
SkyeDS: have to have good footing to train on
SkyeDS: I could have cleaned house, but what did I do, I holed up in
a hot bath for an hour or three and then went to bed.
evile: sometimes that's the best thing to do :)
SkyeDS: Jubilee went through all my raw materials and got me all
excited about what could be done with them
    evile: that's fun :)
SkyeDS: I like buying raw materials. I like the finished work.
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: It's getting from one to the other, lol.
    evile: yup!
SkyeDS: I wish I had known about this book I'm investigating before I
ordered the last three books, I would have ordered it then
    evile: Oh well.
SkyeDS: is written by a retired Head of the Spanish Riding School of
    Vienna
evile: I am sure they'll all come in handy at some point.
SkyeDS: and he seems to be of the same mind as my other mentors
    evile: *nod*
evile: OK. Don't laugh. both my latest *ahem* thoughts are pure sci
fi pulp--in one, I have clones and we do naughty things with one
another & our bestest friends, and in the other we have an alien
abduction scenario :P very silly. But kinda fun.
SkyeDS: that reminds me of STTNG Data saying "I'm fully functional
and programmed for no less than 53 different positions"
evile: *giggle* I loved that episode.
SkyeDS: if I were going to play in an abduction fantasy, I think the
easiest would be the prize jewel of the harem getting carried off in
a raid with the prize horses
SkyeDS: (eg I already have all the accoutrements)
    evile: *smiles* that's cool. :)
SkyeDS: I think I"m probably more sub than dom most of the time, I
don't even know if I really have right to claim switch
SkyeDS: I would rather be the one being abducted than do the
    abducting myself
    evile: *nod*
SkyeDS: I like to be ravished and if I've been ravished well enough I
then want to turn tables and be aggressive myself
    evile: *smiles* way cool :)
SkyeDS: men have had blowup dolls for how long now?
SkyeDS: someone should invent us something clonelike
SkyeDS: but definitely more realistically lifelike than blowup dolls
evile: there is a male realdoll. Not impressed.
evile: it also comes as just the torso. which...honestly, I guess
that's more for gay guys. I'm not so keen on the tool as a whole
    person.
SkyeDS: you could have serving clones and pleasure clones
evile: *smiles* I was thinking more like...what I would do with
myself if I had another me to play iwth, and what other versions of
me could do, since the yweren't technicall y the 'me' that had
decided to be hetero/mono with Tom.
SkyeDS: and if everyone involved had a clone, it would be a game
trying to figure out who was the clone and who was the real thing
    SkyeDS: instant orgy :)
    evile: *giggles* awesome!
SkyeDS: you could also have a clone go to work for you
    evile: *NOD!!!*
SkyeDS: program it to be just like your boss and cow-orkers
SkyeDS: would that be masturbation, having sex with a clone of
    yourself?
SkyeDS: would have to invent a new word for that
evile: masturbation or incest, one :P
SkyeDS: incest = squick for most people
evile: *nod* but then, the M word is naughty naughty for some, as
    well.
SkyeDS: it would definitely need a new word of its own
    evile: yup.
SkyeDS: one word for having sex with your own clone and another word
for having sex with someone else's clone
evile: hadn't really gotten as far as the language...but it would
require some new terminology, for sure.
SkyeDS: nods, well I can see how both of those would be difficult if
not impossible to bring into fruition, true fruition anyway.
evile: yup. But they're fun to think about.
SkyeDS: see, I told you you have more imagination than I do
SkyeDS: all I can do is read about something or see something and say
oh I want to try that
evile: nah, just different. Probably never would have thought of the
    variations you came up with.
SkyeDS: you create, I just improvise.
evile: *smiles* I didn't make up the one about the jewel of the
harem, that was all you :P
SkyeDS: somehow I figure someone came up with that before I did.
evile: there are only, what? 30-odd basic plotlines in fiction.
    Nothing's new.
SkyeDS: my thought was that the prize of the harem is not as likely
to be subjected to pain and permanent markings
evile: *smile* this is true :)
SkyeDS: I do find my tolerance is not as weak as it used to be
evile: it varies, in my experience
SkyeDS: I can find more pleasure in a certain amount of pain than I
used to be able to tolerate, and I can tolerate more spicy foods now
    than I used to too.
SkyeDS: I don't know that either has to do with the other, lol.
    evile: no tellin :)
evile: Did you see Starr's kid's halloween costume? That girl can SEW.
    http://www.acorngirl.com/images/littlesnape1.jpg
    SkyeDS: wow
    evile: isn't he precious? :)
SkyeDS: too sweet in the face to bear much resemblance to the young
    Snape ;)
evile: No, but he is a cutie. All his little friends wanted to be
Potter & friends, he wanted to be Snape :)
    evile: Yep, that's Starr's baby.
SkyeDS: I'd like to be Snape's sexslave
SkyeDS: oops, did I say that outloud?
    evile: *grinz*
    evile: here ya go.
    http://members.aol.com/Logospilgrim/
SkyeDS: I spent hours/days investigating really good Snape slash
    stories
SkyeDS: I guess that counts as an unfulfillable type fantasy
SkyeDS: and you could add just about any Johnny Depp character or a
    few of Gabriel Byrne's characters
    evile: *nodnod*
SkyeDS: sineater brought home Grosse Point Blank the other night
SkyeDS: "Don't tease me, Marcella, you know I'm working"
    evile: *grinz*
evile: Well, time for me to dash. *hugs* have a good evening :)
SkyeDS: wind to your wings :)
