I am at work, even though I still feel ick.

I slept about 20 hours from Tuesday night to Wednesday afternoon,
with only a couple of potty breaks. I was really out of it.

I went to bed early again last night, but I kept waking up from about
2 a.m. on, so I figured I should get up and go to work.

Plus I'm taking Friday off, already, and I didn't want to deal with
the BS that would ensue if I missed 3 days of work plus a weekend.

After work today, I'm going to stock up on decongestants, find some
ear drops, and go back to bed. I had planned on spending Friday in
San Antonio with Rio, going to the First Friday 'art walk' with her,
and having a good time. I hope I am feeling up for that tomorrow!

I can tell I'm actually sick, because both kitties slept with me all
night and day, and all night last night. Under normal circumstances,
Spaz will chase Eris off the bed and be all nasty to her, but for the
sake of helping me feel better they declared a truce.

    SkyeDS: *hugs* hope feelin better
    evile: howdy! Busy day today?
    SkyeDS: kinda sorta, how u?
evile: still ick. But I think I'll be better after another marathon
    sleep
    SkyeDS: rest always good
evile: yup. I knew I was really sick when the cats declared truce and
both slept on the bed with me.
    SkyeDS: nods
SkyeDS: Arthur's method of consolation involves sugars, preening and
    saying quietly, it's ok.
    evile: aww.
SkyeDS: the truce = get well medicine. it works for everything.
    (doesn't it?)
evile: *nod* kitty sleep vibes are always very restful and healing.
evile: Spaz often uses hers for evil--keeps us from getting up when
    the alarm goes off.
    SkyeDS: eeeeevil kitty!
evile: yup. She's just selfish, doesn't realize that we have to get
up and earn her catfood money
SkyeDS: I have to run the gauntlet every day - they don't get it
    either
evile: heh. Some days are easier than others.
evile: I found this great link to some really tacky baby clothes in
cafepress.com, and now I lost it. There were little baby outfits that
said 'accident' on the front in colorful letters, some that said "I'm
proof that my mom likes to F**K!" and all kinds of other offensive
    stuff. SO tempting!
evile: But, Rubber_pig did behave at Thanksgiving, so I should not rile
    her up.
    SkyeDS: rofl too funny
evile: funny that when she was on the 'outs' with me she mentioned
also being on the outs with her sister who reminds her of me. At
Thanksgiving, she and her sister had apparently patched things up, so
she was also nice to me. WIERD.
    SkyeDS: pattern
evile: it's just...fucked up. I've never even MET the woman, so why
should I be held accountable for her behavior?
SkyeDS: "I dunno" (ala bill cosby)
evile: I guess if you're crazy, it all makes perfect sense.
evile: Total subject change: what does your weekend look like?
    SkyeDS: parade friday, otherwise, nada
SkyeDS: hopting Randy will want to go out to his place to play with
    his new horse toys
    evile: that would be cool.
evile: I am going to try very hard to be well enough to do everything
I wanted to do this weekend, but I don't think I'll schedule any more
stuff. Sunday is blank, I'll leave it that way so I can go hibernate
    if I need to.
SkyeDS: if SUnday's nice maybe we'll go to Georgetown
    evile: *nod*
evile: That's always on my 'maybe' list.
evile: bout time for me to hit the road
evile: Have fun at the parade tomorrow :)
SkyeDS: yep <hugs> wind to your wings :)
