    Holiday Wishes......stolen from <a
    href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/eiluned/"eiluned</a>

    It's <a
    href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/tartanshell/>tartanshell</a>'s
    idea. :)

    Step One

    - Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're
comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10
holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and
    fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me")
to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for
Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is,
make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

    - If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you
include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your
address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves)
could get in touch with you.

    - Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your
LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy
    will spread.

    Step Two

    - Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random
journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the
    important part:

    - If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so,
make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's
treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift
certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's
dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point
isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be
someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made
    anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings
attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might
receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's
    holiday special.

    Step 3:

Comment in the LJ of the person for whom you've done something, you
don't necessarily need to say WHAT, just wish them a happy, peaceful,
    healthy 2005.

    My wish list:

    1)Donations to: <a href="http://www.lilithfund.org/">The Lilith
    Fund</a>

    2) <a href="http://www.ppaustin.org/"> Planned Parenthood </a>

    3) <a href="http://www.lser.org/wishlist.htm"> Lone Star Equine
    Rescue</a>

    4) <a href="http://www.austinfoodbank.org/">Capital Area Food Bank</a>

    5) <a href="http://www.austinspca.com/giving/index.html">Austin
    SPCA</a>

    6) Go see something & spend money at <a
    href="http://www.vortexrep.org/">The Vortex Theatre</a>

    7) Spend a few minutes thinking peaceful thoughts for the world.

    8) DON'T spend money at Wal-Mart.

    9) Anything from my <a
    href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/registry.html/002-7138691-
    3820045?%5Fencoding=UTF8&id=3Q717S2QPFHEU">amazon.com</a> wish list

    10) <a href="http://www.noblecollection.com/catalog/product.cfm?
id=NN7017&catid=21">a time turner</a>. (A WORKING one would be
better, but I'll take what I can get)

10:18a To no one and everyone
    Actions speak louder than words

All I ask from you is,

If you love me... prove it

If you call me friend... show me

    Because in all likely hood,

If I say I love you... I have proved it again and again

If I say you are my friend... I have shown you over and over

    Even if you have not.

    Desserts:
    ?

    Cheese (assortment suggested in Igourmet.com):
Sage Derby: Derby is a yellow cheese with a firm texture similar to
that of Cheddar. This dairy actually mixes chopped sage leaves into
the cheese curd rather than mixing sage powder into the milk like
most companies do. This results in a fresher sage flavor, and it is
this flavor that lends Sage Derby its charm.
Maytag Blue: This wonderful, tangy blue cheese hails from Newton,
Iowa. Its wonderful flavor, moist yet crumbly texture, and lemony
finish make Maytag one of the world's great blue cheeses.
Shelburne Farms 2 Year Farmhouse Cheddar: This spectacular cheese,
aged for two full years, is noted for its sophisticated, rich flavor
that leaves hints of maple and apple.
Wensleydale with Cranberries: This is a fresh, young cheese taken at
only three weeks old. It has a clean, mild, slightly sweet flavor
with a honeyed aftertaste. The superb texture of fresh Wensleydale is
perfectly complemented by the addition of all natural cranberries of
    the finest quality.

    Selection of Dagoba chocolate
    Crackers
