2128 dream
Apr. 22, 2004
OMG! I had the most hilarious/bizarre dream: J-Law and I were in New
Orleans, and we were going to take this walking tour of the Quarter.
There was some question of where we were gonna stay, a hotel or with
LiquidMax (?) J-Law was wearing this blouse.

Somehow my mom shanghaied us into working on this childrens' play she
was putting on. So we're back stage putting costumes on kids and what-
have-you, and DAVID BOWIE is there wanting someone to sew up a little
rip in his bathrobe! So we're sitting & talking backstage, watching
each kid get this little song & dance cameo and Bowie asked me if I
was over 21. Then he asked if I had any kids. I said "NO!" and he
made some approving comment. J-Law says something about "how many
students are in this play?" and I"m like "30" and Bowie says
something about how it's going to take forever. Then I've got the
littlest kid in the class in this fairy getup and I've got to hold
him still and in his place for the grand finale. I'm trying to figure
out a way to get a nap, so at least I'll be rested when the play is
done & we can go on our walking tour. I kept trying to get a nap and
I couldn't and I was exhausted. Anyway...wierd dream. That'll teach
me to have dinner so close to bedtime.
I was soo tempted to call in sick today. Seriously. I'm exhausted.

I shared the dream w/J-Law & she said this:
Dude! You have the most detailed dreams of anyone I know.... That
is an odd one, too. But funny/cute.

I got a care pkg from Weez yesterday btw--she sent me about 6
different kinds of coffee, some 'redneck joke' pictures, and school
pictures for Gloria, Hannah, and David :) Cute! I can't wait to put
them up in my cube!
Mom sent me a copy of some horse magazine catering to horse people
from CO & the other Rocky Mtn type states. There's a Gypsy Vanner
cob farm in MT. That would be neat to see. And there's a big horse
sale while [sister H] & I are there. Might be fun to see. I still need to
get a MT guidebook/mapbook.
Started some red beans & rice in the crock pot with the Tasso that
Elaine gave Lynn to give to us. We'll see how that goes.
I didn't get stuff for banana bread. I really need to clean the
kitchen before I start any more cooking projects.
Need to finish cleaning work room, too. Which needs to involve
shredding lots of old bills & throwing them away.
