    Taurus
    Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
You may not know the reason for it, dear Taurus, but you're probably
feeling very optimistic about your future. Things have been going
well for you, and will probably continue to do so. Are you expecting
a sum of money? If so, it could come today. Be sure you don't spend
it all in one place. In the great mood you're in, you might believe
there's plenty more where that came from. There may be - but don't
    jinx it!

    Gemini
    Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Congenial camaraderie with friends could well have you feeling warm
and appreciated, dear Gemini. Support from those around you
contributes to a powerfully optimistic feeling, and a surplus of
physical energy could have you feeling the need to be out and about.
It would also be a good time to formulate new goals for both
immediate and long-term futures. You should have a gratifying and
fulfilling day all the way around. Enjoy!

YAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! Anorexic mummy coworker WON'T STOP SINGING! I
swear to fucking god, this woman makes Yoko Ono sound like Enya. For
fuck's sake, SHUT UP! I just can't stand unrecognizable monotone
crooning. And whatever 'note' it is that she 'sings' is one that my
headphones don't cover up very well. So, even if I put on my
headphones and play loud music, I can still hear
    the "hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" of my coworker 'singing' to her music. I am so
tempted to go and tape sardines to the underside of her chair or
something equally foul-yet-childishly-petty. She is about to drive me
fucking batshit. Not that it's a very far trip at this point.

Anyhoo...nothing really thrilling going on in life. I went to bed
very early last night and dreamt about working in the movie business.
I was some kind of clerical person whose job it was to print and pass
out schedules to all the actors. And Ray Park was one of the actors.
*whee!* Someone kept stealing his schedule, and we thought it might
be someone who wanted to get him fired for not showing up for his
scenes on time. Everyone in the movie called him "Park". He was a
nice guy. It was a good dream, so normal and pleasant compared to the
usual wierd shit my subconscious unloads on me.

F-ed up-ness. Message archives weren't avail. earlier and every time
I tried to post, the yahoo thing said the server was invalid or some
shit. So...come back an hour later and it's posted 4 damn times.

      Feh. Feh.

      Weekend:

Today: phone duty, home early, gym. Catch up on dishes, laundry, etc.

Saturday: pilates video, star party with Markus & Austin Poly folks.

Sunday: Gym, Nude Yoga, San Gabriel Park, Dinner w/ Austin No Kidding

I feel like I'm forgetting something, but don't know what it is.

I went thru the list of supplements from the catalog I had and I will
try Walgreen's and Eckerd's and see how their pricing stacks up. If
the catalog is better, even with s&H, I'll go ahead and go with the
catalog. I'm out of calcium & need another bunch of those. But just
plain calcium, not calcium and D (because I get that in my multi) or
calcium & magnesium (because I also get that in my multi). So I need
just plain o' calcium. And I'm thinking of trying Coenzyme Q-10 for
a month or so, to see how it does. It's supposed to be 100 mg once a
day for weight loss and 50 mg twice a day for allergies. Both are of
interest to me. Of course, the catalog doesnt' have 50 mg tabs avail.
      You've got 30 or 10 or 60 or 100. So I'll look at walgreens & see if
there's 50 mg tablets avail. Maybe I'll get ambitious and try Sun
      Harvest &/or whole foods.

Pondering my associations with Central Tx Rennies and Drandmir.

Drandmir: Not very friendly, have been actually spoken to by 4
Drandmir people thus far. The group seems to place the burden
of 'getting to know ya' on the newbie, perhaps not understanding that
it's very hard for one person to approach a group and say hi, and
much easier for a group member to see a person standing alone and say
hello. Very into the padded-weapon battle games, very organized into
      a hierarchy I don't really understand. I feel like a real outsider
and like there really isn't a place for me in this organization.
Coronation/big events are 'dry'. Most of the members look/seem
younger than me, probably not of legal age to drink. Role playing
game, seems to be lots of leeway for fantasy characters, bizarre
      costumes, etc.

CTR: Friendly, but drunk. Not very organized. All events center
around drinking/bars/being drunk. Most members look/seem older than
me. Some people have 'characters' that they 'role play' at faire, but
mostly just a group of people that like Renfaires & dressing up. A
few (most?) of the group members seem to enjoy dissing people who
aren't historically correct in their costumes.

There has got to be a happy medium here somewhere. I want to be able
to drink if I want to, but I am beyond the point where getting
fitshaced is alot of fun and something I wanna do on a regular basis.
I want to participate, but I don't want to get bogged down in
      collecting points or whatever...

So there are a few elements in both groups that appeal to me, and
MANY elements of both groups that turn me way off. And yet, being a
peripheral sometimes-participant in both groups is rather
      unsatisfying as well.
