Dream I was having when I woke up:
Mom had given me an albino weasel. It was larger than a ferret, but
someone looked it up in a book and it wasn't as big as an adult
weasel. It was hungry and mean. It was biting my hands all to pieces
so I had to put it in a cage. I think I had a new VW bug, or else my
mom did.
Possibly a msg. from my subconscious mind re: SIL? Mom has taught me
to be compassionate & to be an active part of others lives who I care
about, to give when giving seems appropriate, etc.
SIL is the weasel. Adult but not full grown? Malnourished, vicious,
hungry. To be put in a cage/kept at a distance because kindness to
her will only hurt me and not benefit the weasel at all.

My routine. For some reason I have been wanting/meaning to write
about this.
A normal weekday for me:
Up at 5:45. Shower, dress, start the sprinkler in my garden, walk the
dog. 6:30-turn off sprinkler, maybe check email, have breakfast.
6:38-walk to bus stop. 6:45-7:10-ride bus, read. 7:10-9:15: work.
read Diaryland, Yahoo groups, and portal of evil. 9:15-9:30: break.
read. Sometimes go to PO box. 9:30-10 or 11- work. Jen comes online
between 10-11. Email w/ Jen. 11:30-12:30: Lunch break. 11:30-11:45:
warm up and eat lunch. 11:45-12:30-read. 12-1- listen to flashback
lunch on 101X. 1-2:30 work. 2:30-2:45 or 3: read or PO box. 3-3:30 or
4: run scan Q. 4:10-leave work. 4:30-ish, catch bus home. Talk with
Max from Old Rocky/Renfaire trip if he's on the same bus. otherwise,
read. Bus gets me home at 5. 5: check home email. 5:15or so: pilates
video. Sometimes swim. dishes &/or laundry. Sometimes make dinner.
Read, watch TV until bedtime.
Occasional rut breakers: Skate nite on Tues, Fajita nite on Thurs. No
Kidding or Poly Austin events on Wednesday, PNO at random. Actually,
I havent' been to any poly events bsides the picnic at Apple &
Bryce's. But I intend on going to Poly Central Market tonight at 7. :)
Apple is gone doing her field work in Big Bend & New Mexico, but I
liked Bryce & Markus & a couple of the other people I met.
So...that's my life.
And now I have a gym membership, too. Ambivalent doesn't even begin
to cover how I feel about that. I hope I can make it work.
