Went to bed around 8:30 last nite. Wierd dreams. May have finally
    gotten enough sleep.

I want to get into silk painting, but it seems like there's alot of
steps that are only implied and/or assumed that you already know in
the silk painting book I have. I may try and get a different book at
    the library today.

sarongs are on sale 2 for $20 at World Market. I want to go to ULTA
anyway this weekend, so maybe I'll go to both places, since they're
sorta close together. I want more ginger body wash from ULTA and some
all-day lipstick (outlast or whatever). And sarongs. Now that I have
a better idea what to do with 'em. :)

I did my pilates/yoga DVD last nite; yoga for flexibility first
then 'total body' pilates. I like the mix and match option; it's way
    cool.

    Taurus
    Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Wow, something has definitely gotten in to you, dear Taurus, because
you are looking gorgeous! It is more than just the new clothes or
makeup that you may have invested in recently. You have an inner
confidence and glow that is quite noticeable. If you are currently
involved with someone special, expect to be swept off your feet
tonight. If there isn't a significant someone in your life, keep your
eyes open today. As you walk down the street you are bound to receive
admiring glances. One of those glances you might want to return.

    Gemini
    Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Romance is in the air today, dear Gemini, so make an extra effort
with your grooming so you look your best. No one is immune to the
positive vibes in the air. At the office, your coworkers are
especially chatty, and one colleague in particular may pay you just a
bit too much attention. You are in the driver's seat as far as new
relationships are concerned. It may be that you are perfectly happy
with your current situation. But if you are not, there is a definite
possibility that today someone will capture your interest, if not
    your heart

      fucking post office igmos.

Did you know that you CANT get delivery confirmation for "standard/
parcel post" mail even though the delivery confirmation sticker and
all the signs in the post office say you CAN?

So, I go to the post office to mail a small package this a.m. and I
want to get delivery conf, because it's a Magpies thing, and I get to
the desk and say "I need to send this the least expensive way"....the
stupid postal bitch STARTS TO PEEL THE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION TAG
OFF!!! "No," says I "I need it the least expensive way WITH delivery
confirmation." so she tells me that I HAVE to send it priority if I
want delivery confirmation. WTF. and then keeps telling me how much
it's gonna be. "OK OK" I say and she keeps telling me it's going to
be 3.90 in this argumentative tone. "FINE FINE FINE, I say, I just
needed it the least expensive way WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION and I
thought you could send standard mail, like it says on the tag" "No,
no she says, you gots ta send it priority an that's 3.90."

FINE Jesus fucking goddamn crappity christ.

It's irritating that the postal service advertises products and
services that are NOT actually obtainable.

last nite was Tom's "first Thursday" with all the VW Aircooler
people. He goes in the Ghia, so it's not like I want to go with him,
but he didn't even ask. :( Stupid of me to feel left out and left
    behind, but I do.

I went to the library at lunch time & turned in my books from last
time. Not impressed with the crying of lot 49--Pynchon may be a
master of satire & puns, but his settings and characterizations lack
something. People talk and you have no idea who they are or where
they came from. There will be a conversation in progress for pages
and then you discover that they're on a yacht with a bunch of
anarchists who have stolen the boat from the rightful owner, some
gangland mafioso dude....whatever. I have to know WHERE people are
and WHO people are before I can care what they're talking about.

Here's what I got this trip:
    Primary Colors - Anonymous
    Marrying the Mistress- Joanna Trollope
The Cobra Event - Richard Preston
Stained Glass - Kay Bain Weiner
Step by Step Crafts Stained Glass, Lynette Wrigley
Stained Glass projects & patterns- tornel & shannon
Tie Dye! The how-to book - Virginia gleser
    Transforming Fabric - Carilyn Dahl
