OK so you’ve got a few difficulties with the member of a group who can’t stand you and the feeling is mutual. And it seems no matter how you pour love out their and make special efforts to perform for certain people, somebody is always making somebody else as if they don’t belong, don’t fit it and everything would be great if certain people were excluded from the club, voted out, passed over, ignored or even just rubbed out without a trace. That, however, is the irony of a true democracy. You have to live and cope with the one miserable person who makes life lousy for everybody.

There’s comfort in the family. Gosh, it’s good to reconnect with people who knew you when and are still talking to you. It’s so nurturing to have a cozy spot, a lap to sit on, a breast to lay your weary head on, a table to serve the soup on, and be able to say, “Ah, It’s good to be home.” Only thing is, you can’t just squirrel yourself away and forget there’s a cooed, cruel, world out there that demands your attention. Is it a boss who breathes down your neck? An insecure parent who needs more attention than an infant? Or is it your own deeply conflict between hiding and following your dream?
