evileI have been peripherally aware of Great Big Sea for a while now, but for whatever reasons I hadn't listened to them a whole lot until just before we left for our cruise.
Imagine my surprise & delight when I came home to find that two CDs had come in the mail while we were gone! Rant And Roar, which is a great upbeat singable & danceable album & Fortunes Favour, which shows a more lyrical & thoughtful side of the band. Mari-Mac--a great take on a traditional song I've heard a million times at renfaire by a million bands :)
End of the world--the best cover I've heard lately!
