ya know...if hearing from my 15+*mumble* years ago ex did anything, it just made me realize that eventually you do reap what you sow...I didn't have to do or say anything ugly or nasty, his life without me just unfolded and he woke up one day with serious regrets, so much so that he had to contact me and let me know that I was one of the big loves of his life, and bla bla, wah wah.

I suppose revenge would be sweeter in some ways, that satisfying smack of flesh or spatter of blood or waving 'bye as I watched the cop car take him away for whatever...

but in the end, having a good life without him in it is better than anything I could have done to him. Pointing and laughing is kinda fun, too.

nah.. you have too much good going on in your life to even have time to point and laugh much.

perhaps the BEST revenge is going 'who?, oh , fancy that.' and walking on with your busy life full of love and value and stuff.

the "smacking" part is of course the COMIC version of you... perhaps a vestigial part of a past thats now more of a sketch in pencil fading with time.
