DAve was asking me what we;re doing... I'm kinda up for doing whatever....

Also there is a world beat dance party tonight at ruta maya with ararat

The last Ararat event at Ruta Maya was super crowded. I am sure it was successful for the organizers, but it was not so comfortable for me. I am kind of stupid about crowds...I can not take much crowding.

I was thinking of starting the evening off with the Melting pot downtown happy hour, cuz I can just walk there from work...but then I started thinking about parking, for anyone who'd want to join me, so I'm re-thinking that. I still like the idea of spooky cocktails & cheez, but maybe it'd be more fun to do it at home myself. Certainly better parking and fewer crowds. What do you think? When were y'all thinking of getting your evening started?

We are debating about doing the Melting Pot. A lot depends on when I can leave work. I've nover done Halloween on 6th street and it being a Friday we are going to brave the crowds and do it this year.

I don't know how this will mesh with your plans, but I was thinking of maybe doing fondue & cocktails at the house (early) before everyone rolls out to do halloween elsewehre.

Oh...I hadnt' thought we'd need reservations...I thought it was like a walk-thru haunted house. is it actually a theatre thing that starts at 7 and ends at 10???

Nope, its a walk through... takes about 20 min. I reserved for 4. She also said there is a yard party. So that sounds cool.

See you around 5:30 with soup.

That's OK. I have a recipe and I'll go and get the ingredients for it when I get off work. Chances are, if I looked at your book I'd probably find something I wanted to make and didn't have ingredients for. Don't need the stress :P

Is it really so crazy to organize a "Halloween in April" party so it's twice a year?
