Books for my brother

Hey, all.
My brother A. is in jail until 2/23/09. He tries to stay hopeful and in good spirits, but it's hard, and he gets bored.
His birthday is 10/26. I'm sure it's lousy to have to spend your birthday in jail.
So....if anyone would like to do him (and me!) a great favor, I'd like to ask that folks send him a book or two. They have to come directly from the publisher.
I've found one publisher's website that lets you order books
http://www.harpercollins.com/Book/Browse.aspx
Their website says:
Send an e-mail with the specifics to orders@harpercollins.com or phone 1-800-242-7737 -- a customer service representative will respond to you.
If anyone would like to do a good deed today, let me know and I'll give you his address to have the publisher send the books to.
I'm screening all replies. Please leave an email address where I can email his address to you.
Thanks.

Re: Have to check budget-stuff with Erin, but...
Date: 2008-10-20 04:29 pm (UTC)He really liked Clive Barker when he was a teenager.
He said he just read _The Te of Piglet_ and liked it, but it wasn't anything he'd normally read. But he remembered I owned the _Tao of Pooh_ and he was out of stuff to read, so he gave it a try.
I sent him a compliation of Edgar Allen Poe and Mark Twain stories I hope he'll like. Probably read most of the Poe already but these are in graphic novel form so they may be cool to re-read.
