New Year, same old me

evile 2025: My mom died. I fucked up a permanent full time well paying job offer, 'rescued' an acquaintance from her life and fucked that up, road tripped my junkie alkie cousin from his failed life in OR back to Austin where he continues to not do well and not maintain sobriety. Dickhead president and his moron administration does crimes on the daily, people dead and disappeared and just awful things happening every day. Economy and job hunting in the shitter. Bug needed expensive repairs and insurance co was shitty to deal with.
I've split out most of my political posts to bluesky and facebook is for day to day shit, cute animals, art and neat houses I find.
There is something so unpleasant and gross-feeling about the fact that all of the ways I interact with others are controlled by fascists and their shitty algorythms; participation isn't making anything better, not reaching anyone, not accomplishing anything, it's just legitimizing the fascist oligarch kleptocracy.
anyhoo...back to work searchin and job huntin and cleaning house and all the things. Screaming into the void ain't what it used to be.
