SkyeDS: I'm at a loss as exactly what words to search on to find
private facilities for events

evile: I occasionally drive on a backroad and see some sign that
says 'have your event here'...but never write down any contact info.
SkyeDS: no reason for you to
evile: other than it does come up in conversations w/ HFS, poly,
pagan event planning folks.
SkyeDS: but you have better sense than to involve yourself in
planning :)
evile: or something.
SkyeDS: Paulie made it over to Connie's this morning and was having a
good time with his new pack
SkyeDS: he's a pretty little thing
evile: He is a sweet dog.
evile: I'm glad he is getting along with the others :)
SkyeDS: he's still very depressed though
SkyeDS: he looks to be some mix of either Aussie or Sheltie, and
Welsh border
SkyeDS: very loyal
evile: *nod* It will probably take him a while to settle in.
evile: It helps that there are other dogs around.
evile: I'm ready for my nap! Goodie days always do this to me. You'd
think i'd learn...

evile: I wouldn't get anything done. Unfo I just dont' have the
discipline.

evile: The only time I've seen him totally comfortable was when [brother A]
brought him, [The Rubber Pig] & the girls up to visit Lynn & Bob.

SkyeDS: I'm going to make the CRW VIII Crat a list of central
fairgrounds
evile: Sweetie doesn't trust Paulie because of his skitzyness. Worries
that he's going to snap someday and bite someone. Hasnt done it
yet...and he's been in a lot of stressful, threatening situations
that I would think would trigger that behavior if he had it in him at
all.
SkyeDS: since it was a county fairground that they loved so much in
the first place

evile: I do NOT buy the 'paulie herding [The Rubber Pig]' into the corner' story
one damned minute, btw. Let alone the implied 'he made me miscarry'
bit.

evile: *nod* I know. He did fine in New Mexico with much less.

evile: Not yet. it was another bleeding scare.
SkyeDS: otherwise known as a period....
evile: what. ever. I don't care.
evile: it's the best possible outcome of this whole ungodly mess.
That and/or her kicking [brother A] to the curb.
evile: I am going with the assumption that the 'pregnancy' is a total
fake, anyway.
evile: When Chicken Little and the Boy Who Cried Wolf get married, ya
know? Eventually nobody is going to listen to all of their drama-
mongering.

evile: Oh well. [brother A] is a grownup. it's his life. I am just not going
to think about it.
SkyeDS: I wouldn't give Arthur or the girls up for any reason
SkyeDS: I don't care if I were quadriplegic

SkyeDS: we'd just have to make a saddle out of a wheelchair with some
straps.

SkyeDS: even if I had to live in a tent

evile: I'm with you though...the animals are not negotiable. They are
part of my life in a bigger way than any other human. I see them as
my gifts from God/dess, given to me for the span of their lives. They
are my responsibility for life.
SkyeDS: Larry, the very cute manager of Half Price on Guad, with the
silver hair and gray eyes, I told you about his bird.
SkyeDS: exactly, and they are the only tangible evidence I have that
I must have done something right, in this lifetime or some other.

SkyeDS: there is yet another new trailer out on the white trash place
evile: oh, lord.
SkyeDS: I keep telling sineater and Wayne, kerosene and matches, boys
evile: *sigh* i wish it was that easy...
SkyeDS: I've got a lot of brush to burn a nd so does Wayne, I told
him we ought to burn at t he same time from two different directions
so that they get smoked no matter what way the wind blows
evile: that would be fun :)

SkyeDS: am letting her do it because she's on f irst name basis with
them by now
evile: What a hassle! But, yeah...hopefully when they hear enough
from one person, something will get done.

overflowed onto someone else's property

evile: ugh. Just found a LJ comment from Terri H. Her LJ comments are
often self-aggrandizing to an irritating degree. I did NOT ask "who
is NOT going to this?" I asked if anyone WAS. *grump*

evile: Oh well. I'm not going if I dont' know at least 1 other person
who is going.
evile: And at this point I'm both pathetically lonely & 'rich' enough
to pay someone's way if it means I don't have to go alone. (it would
have to be the right someone, however. I'm not quite to the point of
desperation where any old body will do)
SkyeDS: I could easily name at least one person both more pathetic
and more lonely than you :P
evile: um, I'm pretty sure I would not care to spend a weekend in
that person's company.

it is a guy who gave me icky creepy vibes when I met him, so I don't
really wanna go, even if a few of my friends are.
