evile: hey. My icq is doing strange things...Not sure if this is
going to work. but hi anyway.

evile: Ok.
evile: the little flowery thing beside each name is gone. and where
my ICQ # shoudl be is blank.
evile: Other than that, I'm having a fine day at work. We're pretty
caught up and I found a fun station to listen to. I just found a guy
named Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on launchcast, and now I'm
listening to Nusrat (etc) fan radio. It's awesome. Funky, great
beats, some kind of arabic-techno sounds, very upbeat and cheerful.
It's helping the day pass quite well!
SkyeDS: I haven't added eastern music to my launchcast yet, I need to.
evile: I dont' really know enough about it to knwo what I will or
won't like. Generally something will come up on my radio station and
I'll go off to the links or the fan station to find things to rate.
evile: I finally talked myself into taking a bellydance class, went
to the ACC website to register, and found out I have an academic hold
on my records. Which, of course, I can't do anything to find out
about because I'm at work at the same time their offices are open.
Feh!!

evile: no idea. I finished my last round of classes with passing
grades, paid for all the classes and books with plastic, so I know
they got paid.

SkyeDS: not here yet (late)
evile: paid internship? well. either way, not good. but worse if he's
expecting to be paid.
SkyeDS: I'm sitting here with his pay (cash) in hand.
evile: late for pay day. not the brightest crayon in the box.

evile: ooh, just found out that Drakon will be at the Natural magic
bellydance/fire show on the 25th. Rock on :) I'm so THERE.

SkyeDS: I really like him and his lady. Spent a little time with t
hem at ESA
evile: They are very sweet people.
evile: I always enjoy the first friday at casa de luz (when I can
make it.)
SkyeDS: nodnod
evile: I didn't go June 3. Hopefully I can make it July 1.
evile: crap, my ie says it needs to close...so it's going to close
everything else when I hit OK. BRB.

evile: I'm still not sure if I'm going to be able to fit poly dinner
in, with everything else I need to get done before I leave Saturday
a.m.
SkyeDS: even if you don't not like there aren't more
evile: *nod* exactly.
SkyeDS: a better than avg intellect could argue successfully either
for you to go or not go
SkyeDS: so you shoudl just do what you want and be done with it
evile: well, if I go and all I do is think abou tall the stuff I
ought to be doing (which I do to myself a lot) I won't have any fun
anyway. I'd be better off just doing what needs to be done and
missing my friends and being sad, rather than seeing them and being
grouchy.
SkyeDS: no one knows you better than you
evile: yup. I will see how much I can get done before then...if I can
get enough done and feel OK taking a dinner break, I'll go. If not,
I'll skip it.
evile: I will see most of the SBC on Friday, anyway.
evile: I love traveling. I just hate the before & after parts.
SkyeDS: me too. traveling and moving. just not packing and
unpacking.
SkyeDS: we have a good routine, they pack and unpack, I do all the
driving. All of it.
evile: and I'm really going to hate coming back to the same mess I
left....I would much prefer to come home to a clean house. Oh well.
It's not gonna happen.
SkyeDS: although I know they really need to know how to pull safely.

evile: well, I've got to make a restroom stop before my usual
wanderings, so I'll go ahead & say good bye for today.
