I am glad Elaine is going to have a frank talk with
Aunt L. That should help. Elaine seems like a very
compassionate person, but someone who also has a lot
of sense. Plus, if she is Aunt L's best friend, I am
sure Aunt L will carefully consider what Elaine has to
say.

I have SO MANY happy thoughts crashing around in my
head. Like little lovey bumper cars. :) He's
finished White Noise. He liked it and says that
there are some things he "wants to discuss with me."
How cute is that?! All of these booky discussions
over cocktails & dinner, and then we get to go home
and shag like viagra-popping monkeys.

England: "acting the rubber pig," i.e., not working, malfunctioning,
acting in a way that is stupid or doesn't make sense.

I'm not sure I can fit the rubber pig in bit and have
it sound natural. But I'll give it a try. I do like
it. And maybe it's a good codeword for my fake-SIL. :P

Happy thoughts happy thoughts. I am starting my
sangria tomorrow. Give it a couple of days to blend
all the flavors & get the fruit slices good &
marinated :)
