Hm. An animal has health problems consistent with " sustained abuse, neglect, poor nutrition" but the owner insists that their own animal displaying such issues must have some entirely different reason for having that health issue.
Ohhhhhkaaaaay.
- Despite witnesses having observed said owner throwing the animal violently to the ground while screaming "NO" at it (repeated incidents, over several years),
- despite the animal having been diagnosed with a related health issue (fatty liver) almost 20 years ago and told at that time to cut it out with the people food (they stuck to the special diet for a while but eventually went back to feeding it french fries, fried chicken, etc, because it's cute when the animal begs for human food),
- despite the animal having visible signs of neglect (overgrown beak, feather issues, etc).
Ohhhhhkaaaaay.
