had fun with Sharjinka & the group yesterday (skating, Macaroni Grill,
Pirates of the Carribbean, Bennigan's), today was brunch at L&B, then
came home for a nap & just woke up.

I dreamt that my mom was leading some sort of ritual in this big
outdoor ampitheatre. She had asked me to do part of it & I'd chosen a
necklace-making ritual which apparently would make you infertile or
fertile, whichever you wanted. You had to find a stone with a hole in
it, and the one with a colored edge & a black middle, when worn in
this particular necklace design, would keep you infertile. But then
she didn't ask me to do my part that I'd researched & was working on.
She was doing a multicultural ritual, I woke up when she was singing
a song about "old ___ possum". Wonder what a possum totem animal
means?


I probably dreamt that because I missed ritual at Natural Magic (led
by 'skye' and 'pillar'. possibly skye_ds, but who knows?) and maybe
also because I missed PNO tonight :(

My summary of sineater's visit, to J-Law:


The whole sineater & UB thing was pretty anti-climatic. He had said he'd
be at our place around 9pm, and then called around 10pm to say he was
running late. I was exhausted so I went to bed. I heard Sweetie let him
in & they talked a bit, and then I guess sineater went to bed. I got up
Sat. a.m., ran to the store for pastries & breakfast stuff, made
coffee, then the guys got up, sineater talked about work (he is back at
Dell, contract until Sept. or Oct.) He looked at the clock at 10:40,
asked if that was "the Real Time", said he had to get a $ order to
South Austin by 11 to pay the mortgage on the 'old place' (I didn't
realize they hadn't paid off the old trailer) But then he just kept
sitting around & chatting.

Then I guess he called UB & hung up, and then she called back, and
they talked (radio was on, and he was talking quietly so I didn't
overhear anything). Then his MOM called (WTF!?!?) about some visit
he'd promised her or somesuch, and they were still on the phone when
I left around 11:15 to get some errands done before the b-day party I
had to go to at 3.

sineater is a strange critter. I was glad to see him, ever so briefly,
but I dont' have a clue why he stayed over. I am thinking maybe since
he had business in Austin 'early' he was trying to get an early
start. But he was still not to wherever he needed to be to get the
money order & pay the mortgage by 11. Oh well. Not really my problem.
