    skyedreamsinger: hey
    evilE: oh, it did.
evilE: well, the msg I sent you first isn't showing up in the
box, but yours to me showed up.
evilE: and it's noisy. I don't see a way to turn the sound off
    or down...
    skyedreamsinger: no icq today?
evilE: it isn't working. There are 2 web based ones now, java
and flash, and whichever my 'usual' is won't accept my password. and
the new one keeps randomly booting me offline.
evilE: ANYWAY. How are you? Did your lesson show up yesterday?
    skyedreamsinger: no
skyedreamsinger: which means more than half a days extra work today
skyedreamsinger: so from now on, no confirmation call, I won't be
    there
evilE: sounds like a good policy.
evilE: Oh! I found something interesting this a.m. I was in the
mainframe looking at wage records & found out that X is working
for the Alamo Drafthouse these days
skyedreamsinger: ruins a perfectly good venue
evilE: I went with Sweetie on Sunday, and we had a fine time. I'm
pretty sure she wouldn't jeopardize her job by starting shit with a
    patron
evilE: (didn't see her, btw. I think she may be working at the
    Village or the Lakeline location)
skyedreamsinger: I am occasionally given to ponder the meaning
    of "jerkmagnet"
    evilE: ?
skyedreamsinger: just our general tendency to attract jerks
evilE: eh, I think of it more as a 'freakmagnet' than
a 'jerkmagnet'. Most folks I know are pretty OK.
skyedreamsinger: Sineater and I for the last year have just attracted
    jerks.
skyedreamsinger: Jerky tenants, jerky employers in his instance
    evilE: yup
evilE: at least in my personal life, I'm getting better at
keeping the jerks at a distance...I think. I hope.
evilE: as far as work goes...I think it's prison psychology at
    work.
evilE: set up a particular environment and certain behavior
    will result.
skyedreamsinger: I compiled and revised a 19 page handbook to bring
equestrian events officially to HFS for playtesting last night
evilE: cool. Will there be anyone with horses besides Mirage
    and Jessie?
    skyedreamsinger: eventually, maybe
    evilE: cool.
skyedreamsinger: other HFSers have horses, I know, but so far
everyone tells me, "my horse wouldn't do *that*"
    evilE: heh.
skyedreamsinger: slow, going back to finish what needs to be done on
    Hugh's puter
    evilE: OK
skyedreamsinger: I am currently away from the computer.
