My stepdad, in late-night painful family talk, asked me why I can't try and be nice to the Rubber Pig the same way I've tried to make nice with ....someone else in similar relationship to a family member.
I honestly had no answer.
some maybes:
1) RP is trying to guilt trip and use my entire family, not just Brother A
2) RP has no coherent worldview, unlike skye_ds. RP will sit there and tell you teh sky is green and 5 minutes later get angry with you and SWEAR she never said such a thing.
more later...Krabby the Coworker has a bug up her butt about internet at work--she gets this way when left in charge for too long.
