No. There’s no proof that extrasensory perception exists.
What NPDs have is a very keen predatory instinct that helps them pick up on body language and other verbal and nonverbal cues in order to hone in on what their target wants, needs, and fears. Then the NPD’s predatory instincts guide them into being first their target’s ideal mate, friend, or partner, and then guides the NPD to do and say all the right things to get under their target’s skin, reveal and exploit their weaknesses, drain them of their assets and energy, and then discard them when they are of no more use to the NPD.
It is the same instinct that leads a shark to a wounded fish, or a lion to the slowest and oldest members of a herd of prey animals.
It looks uncanny to an outside viewer, but it is the same set of coping and managing skills that anyone growing up in an abusive or chaotic environment develops—the ability to read and interpret every word, every facial expression, every movement of someone’s hands or body, in order to survive and thrive.
