Horoscope (by Astrocenter.com)
"Passion" is the keyword for today. If you are currently romantically
involved, expect the old passions that you experienced in the first
days of your relationship to resurface. If you are not presently
involved, dear Gemini, the opportunity to get involved could present
itself to you. You might also have a project that means a lot to you
towards which you might direct some of this passion. Go with the
flow!

Saturday, Oct. 5: up 9:30-ish, cleaned living room, kitchen & guest
bath, did laundry, put up Halloween decorations.
When Tom got back from first Saturday, I had him start the mower for
me & mowed front & back yard. there was a hose casualty...oh well.
I called M on his cell-x answered but didn't sound really glad
to see me. Mike said they'd be having X's bday/thanksgiving at
their house, and would I come? oh, wah. such a guilt trip. feh.
Tom took a nap around 3, I went shopping. HEB for Ice, lunch meat &
cheese, club soda & tortillas. Pier 1 on Airport had champagne flutes
with blown glass swirls in 'em. No cobalt blue, just red. but very
pretty. smelled yummy candles, wandered around. It was cool.
Then to Big Lots (formerly MacFrugals) on Airport, found low carb
pasta & got Tom some weird soda called "moon mist". I got a diet
birch beer for me. it was good.
Then went next door to Hancock fabrics. Nothing really said 'take me
home'
Then to Bull Creek park, where I swam & had picnic dinner. There was
a snake in the waterfall when I got there, but I just kind of kept my
distance until the snake moved on. It was probably a cottonmouth. ee!
Then to REI, where I found that they don't carry snorkeling stuff.
The guy there recommended Tom's Dive shop on Burnet.
Then to Ross, where I got a blouse, a bra & a pair of pantyhose.
Then to Dragon's Lair where I changed into my new blouse & visited w/
E. HFS was having fighting demos and E & A were there with
horses & bird. E was holding the horses while A got to have
fun. Poor e. He told me about their house/land buying stuff. Lots
of problems, but hopefully they'll be closed-closed soon & moving to
the new place. E's spherion gig at d--- will end soon, but he is
depending on A working & him getting Unemployment for 3 months
until he can go back to D--- thru spherion again.
I met a few people from the clothiers list--Val and Liz & one other
gal...
As things were breaking up at Dragon's Lair & folks were going to
dinner, Tom called. He was up & wanted to go to the movies. So I said
my goodbyes & went off home. We saw Minority Report at the $2 movies.
It was pretty cool.
Sun: up around 10, was too late to Nude Yoga, went back home & put
away laundry, then we went to dim sum with max & laura, then I went
to the gym. Mom called & we talked awhile. She really wants me to
come visit. wow...that might be cool. but when will I have the time/$?
Then I went up to san gabriel park. Stopped on the way for cat
crunchies & allergy medicine--i was hurtin! No E, horses, a,
etc. at the park so I went back home.
& that was my weekend.
Dreamt about being on a bus tour of england's scary places. Our last
stop, this chef guy had made marzipan monsters & decorated the dining
table with 'em. Mom was on the tour with me & she'd been secretly
buying gifts for all the people on the tour & they were on the
table, too. I had a bracelet with an orange stone with a black bat on
it. Someone named 'isis' had an orange stone bracelet with some other
critter on it.

=======================
I saw & talked to A briefly & E for a longer time Saturday nite.
They were at a comic book store on Burnet Rd with the Dreckmore
people, who were doing padded-weapon fighting demos & trying to stir
up some interest & recruit new members from the comic bk readers.
(aside: they brought their horses & their bird, the horses were in
the parking lot behind the store. E had to stand around holding
them, away from the main fighting/demo area, for the whole 2 hrs of
the demo/recruitment, except for a few minutes when I held them while
he took a little break & actually got to chat w/ people. ALSO, the
horses crapped in the parking lot and neither A nor E, nor J,
who joined them as things were winding down, cleaned it up. GROSS!)
ANYWAY, turns out A & E are trying to get rid of J, mostly by
minimizing contact rather than coming right out and saying anything.
(And here I thought polyamory/polyfidelity was all about Trust and
*Communication*--what a dipshit I am!) Seems that J is being
whiny & bitchy and not helping them clean their trailer & get ready
to move to their property & new trailer in R-----. The nerve!
So now I know why A was trying to give J to me at the bellydance
show a couple weeks ago. I told E about that, in a
bemused/superior tone, rather than in the disgusted/appalled tone I
actually felt at the time. :)
hee.
Also, I finally got ahold of . Called his cell phone
midday Saturday, figuring I'd catch him at work, hopefully not at a
busy time. X answered, I told her I was returning M's call, and
she just handed him the phone, no "hi, how are you, bla bla"...So
M says they are not coming to Lynn's for Thanksgiving because they
just "wouldn't be comfortable". WTF!?!? And then he added in this
pathetic little voice that they'll be doing X's bday/t'giving at
their house & would I be interested in attending? I was all
like "SURE! Of course!" and offered to bring a dish, order the cake,
bring champagne, or whatever, said "I'd love to participate, but I
just can't do it ALL" and he just kind of blew off all my offers & we
rang off. WIERD.
