I woke up this a.m. thinking I'd just spent the night thinking
 instead of dreaming.

 but then I remembered a dream i had.Very wierd.

I dreamt that we went to an after-hours thing at Wiggy's, like a
tasting or something. It was odd; the back room where all the wine is
was dark and covered in plastic, and there was a little area with
bistro tables & chairs, decorated kind of like the Chisholm
winery...it was wierd. And then I was trying to decide whether or not
to buy this booze that was made from gasoline or motor oil....and
then before I made up my mind, the owner had to take the motor oil
booze off the shelf and stop selling it because it was illegal. And
we were asking where Howard was because he was the one supposedly
hosting the event. And somehow, Wiggy's was on the active part of 6th
st, and my brother Alex was outside with glowsticks and trying to
convince us to go to this church with him...

Anyway....wierd dream. I have no clue what my subconscious mind was
trying to figure out with all that bizarre symbolism.
 =====================
No clue what to wear to A&A's wedding. The ballroom skirt is way too
long and too big in the waist to wear with a regular tuck-in kind of
blouse. Wearing a blouse untucked over the skirt just makes me look
huge. I look like shit in my purple corset over the skirt. I HAVE NO
WAIST! I LOOK LIKE UNIBOOB!!! Maybe with a cape or big scarf over
it, it would look OK. But where am I to find a purple scarf or cape
to match these things at this point in time? I guess I'll go
looking...less traumatic to look for a nice scarf than it would be to
try on a new dress/ skirt/ outfit at this point.

I really liked doing the sarong thing on Saturday out at CMA. Black
tank top, black leggings, sarong tied on as a skirt, big straw hat
with "Nile goddess & spiral" scarf tied under my chin, tortoiseshell
sunglasses. Now that's a good look, but probably doesnt' qualify
as "Casually Formal" or whatever the invite said for the dress code.

I'm going to skate nite with Holly tonight. I think her dad is coming
too. bummer. I told her I'd emailed Eric to invite him, but didn't
expect to hear from him or have him show up. Holly got his # from me
and said she'd call him. I hope for her sake, he makes an effort. It
is very hurtful to be continually treated to silence. I have no idea
what it means, if anything. Maybe he's just too busy. Maybe he's
changed email addresses and hasn't given me the new one. (a whole new
subset of assumptions blossoms at questioning WHY he hasn't given me
the new one) Or maybe wifey isn't letting my messages get to him. Or
maybe he's mad because I don't email wifey anymore, so he feels like
I am deliberately excluding her from my invitations. Not the case,
but assumptions are bad. Which is why I'm trying NOT to assume
 anything about Eric's continued silence.

My Taurus & Gemini horoscopes are usually pretty complimentary. But
today they are completely opposite one another. Weird.

What strength! The world is going to see a Taurian at full power
today! A breath of creativity and modernism inspire you today. If you

business, you find yourself changing your work methods and updating
all the equipment. In fact, everything is brought up to date today,

 Gemini
 Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Today is marked by a feeling of great openness to the world. When
exchanging ideas with friends or colleagues at work, humanistic
themes dominate. Alas, none of the ideas are grounded in reality. For
today, practicality takes a back seat to your overwhelming desire to
commit yourself to one of the world's great causes. Dear dear Gemini,
your intentions are so honorable. But why not put them through a
reality check before single-handedly setting out to save the
 planet...
