I slept in today; called in sick. Mostly so I can get car stuff taken
care of: 2 estimates, new windshield wipers & air filter and
inspection. I think I will do the wipers filter & inspection first.
I can't remember my dreams much. Somethign about the cruise.
Something about my right ear being full of black stuff (it did hurt
once when I woke up). Something about fruit trees in my front yard
and losing my steamer trunk.
Hm.
Taurus
Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Worries about money could cause you to work yourself up into a heavy
emotional state, dear Taurus. This isn't very productive, especially
since you're likely to be overreacting and the situation isn't
anywhere near as serious as you're starting to believe. Come down to
earth, look at your accounts, and try to get beyond your feelings and
view the situation as it really is. You'll probably be relieved! Then
deal with it in an appropriate manner. Hang in there!

Haha. I know exactly how much money I have--about $250. I need about
$50 worth of groceries for camping nxt weekend, about $10 worth of
groceries for the poly picnic this weekend, maybe $40 or $50 for
going to San Antonio on Sunday to hang w/ Rio, $30 for winshield
wipers, $12 for inspection, $? for air filter, (at least $20 I would
imagine), $15 or so for gas money for the weekend of beltane, $100 or
so for the weekend of Andrew's Wedding.....and, viola, you see that I
NEED more than I HAVE. Unless L&B left me $$ for catsitting, I am
going to be abusing the plastic hardcore. Oh, I could possibly get my
IRS refund back in the mail sometime between now and the wedding, but
I will not be holding my breath too hard.

Gemini
Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Career matters may be weighing on your mind today, dear Gemini,
particularly if there is some sort of vast upheaval going on at the
workplace. You might be considering not only a job change, but also a
total change in profession. A friend might propose that the two of
you start a business together, and this could be a possibility. This
is not the day to make a decision, however. You may be too
emotionally wrought-up. Wait a day or so.

??? I ordered the books for my paralegal class from amazon.com
yesterday. and I was idly thinking what it would be like to work in
the same office as Jen. I think I had a nightmare about working in
the same office as SIL. &/or about hugging her...nekkid. I have some
creepy dreams about that beeyotch.
Career matters. Feh.
got 2 estimates. Between 550-650 bucks for the repair. I still have
the appointment at 8am on Saturday for the 3rd one. I will get that
one and then get with Jenny and see how she wants to handle the next
step.
Got my car inspected; they said all my fluid levels were low and I
should bitch at whoever was supposed to have checked them at the oil
change place. Because they didn't, obviously.
Got windshield wipers & installed them. Got a new air filter. Didn't
install that, need a ratchet wrench thingy to get the housing off.
Got camping stuff at Academy--got a small 1 person sized tent for 20
bucks==A LOT less than I was expecting to spend! So I got out my
fabric paints and did it up with all kinds a goofy pagan stuff. The
message, I hope, will be very clear: I am here to be pagan with ya'll
but only one person sleeps in this tent-ME.
I typed up my Beltane recipes: stew, onion shortbread, oatcakes,
personality punch & "Wine and song"--which is basically sangria,
champagne, and fruit juice.
Got a birth announcement from Doug P AKA bithole surfer from
Timemuse/TIM. They had a little boy at the end of March. Ryan, 9 lbs
at birth! Great picture of the baby; he looks like a real human and
not some squashy wierd thing. Very cute. I went by the Harley store
and got some baby stuff--little sockies, 2 rompers and a 'sweetpea'
with a tiger-face shaped washcloth. Very cute. I'll send those off
tomorrow. I'm so happy for him and K. I know they were trying and
I know it must have broken their hearts to miscarry the first two
babies. So I'm super happy for em/ I was crying and laughing all the
way from the post office to the harley store. I'm a sap!!
