Taurus
Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Difficult situations may arise, dear Taurus, in which you feel as if
you are doomed if you do, and doomed if you don't. Finding a working
solution to the problem is next to impossible, due to the egos and
sharp personalities of the people who are involved. Even if
everything looks workable on paper, this is no guarantee that things
will work out in real life. The best you can do is be honest and
practical, and make it a point not to choose sides or become biased
in any way. You could be feeling a bit hyper and nervous, so try to
only focus on the most important things.
Gemini
Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
Feel free to be quick to point out when an injustice has been made,
dear Gemini. If someone says something that is offensive or untrue,
do not sit back and let it slide. By doing so, you are just as much
at fault as the person who offended in the first place. When you know
you are right, say so. It is important that others listen to and
respect you. Your honest nature and good sense of morals are
extremely important qualities, and should be recognized accordingly.
The cosmic climate today will enhance your charismatic appearance to
achieve that.

Went to fajita nite w/ Jaime & Kathleen last nite. Tom said they
seemed a little snappish & frayed with one another. I didn't notice,
but I did notice that tom and I seem to have a better rapport than
J&K. And they're the ones getting married.
I gotta lose some weight. K asked me if I was pregnant. Not in so
many words, but the implication was there. I told her in brief and
uncolorful language that such was not possible or practical to
attempt. It's not worth my life to even try, and I don't want any
kids anyway. She is one of those very old school old fashioned peopel
who thinks every woman should get pregnant at least once. bleh.
She is also changing her last name. Jeez. What a hassle.
I worked on my stained glass last nite. I messed up 2 moon mirrors
and fought my way to a standstill on the green celtic goddess box. I
don't like my temptrol soldering iron. I think I may go back to the
gun.
I did something kind of neat with a shield template I'd photocopied--
put a diamond bevel in the middle and put red and blue glass around
the bevel to fill out the shield-shape. I think I may try more
shields. Do some in etched glass (i want to do the Harris shield!--3
hedgehogs!) and some with bevels and some without, etc.I haven't
ground, foiled, or soldered the shield piece yet. I am kind of
setting up an assembly-line styled thing here, where I do several
pieces at once. cut a bunch, then grind a bunch, then foil a bunch,
then solder a bunch.
Hopefully this will be a more effective method than my old ones. I
usually have several months to prepare for a craft show, and the
craft shows I've done in the past have been 1 or 2 days. Now I'm
doing a 4-weekend faire with only 2 weeks notice. Luckily I do have
quite a bit of inventory already made. But, with the usual fickleness
of the buying public, I'm sure they'll only want the stuff I've only
made 2 of. *sigh*
And I suppose I should focus less on pagan-centered stuff and more on
general stuff. I like the shields. I may do some letters in the
center of a few. I have a cool book of stained glass letter patterns.
I also have a cool pattern book for a dragon box, a dragon mirror, a
unicorn mirror, and a pegasus. They're all rather large.
