After I wrote down the hit and run driver's numbers, I turned around & saw the guy get out of his car and start to call someone on his cel. (plus, it's been long enough since my Girl Scout/Explorer Scout days that I doubt I'd be any use at all in a bleeding-to-death emergency.)
I don't guess you can really force compassion on other people...and god/dess knows I come up short in a lot of situations, with a lot of people....so.
one step forward, two steps back. The usual for me, I guess :P
