You should have asked why she was surprised I would
have been interested to know. :) I was also kind of
wondering what [skye_ds] had thought my interests were
and how I came up in conversation but I am too
curious for my own good. I guess I spent too many
lives as a cat but it is always interesting to know
how other people see you.

I appreciated your LJ comment. That was a good
point. I guess I will go deal with my relationship
in person instead of airing our issues on LJ. That
is always a better choice anyway. I guess I just
felt like he chose the venue when he posted what he
did.

Yeah, I remembered that you wrote something in your LJ
about wanting to ride, and that's why I mentioned you
to her. She didn't regale me with any tales from the
old days or anything, so I have no idea why she was
surprised to hear you wanted to re-acquaint yourself
with her. Maybe because, as you say, you weren't all
that close at UT and both of you consider yourselves
to be so dull & forgettable--which is SO not true of
*either* of you...but that's something you'll have to
learn for yourself if you're going to believe it. :P

OTOH, skye_ds doesn't seem to forgive or forget
anything from her past (even things I don't remember
happening as she says they did!). One day in class you
probably criticized her interpretation of "Ode on a
Grecian Urn" and she's never gotten over it.

I really hope you & roninjedi & Nikiyoy & whatsername get
things worked out. You're all decent humans & deserve
good & happy things :)
