Sweetie to me:
Remember the diesel Vanagon camper in Indiana that was on ebay, then
got pulled? I'd fired off a "Hey! What happened?" email that day,
and I actually got a response. It turns out that they didn't think
they'd get what they wanted for it, but what they want for it was
less than what my maximum bid would have been. So I sent the guy a
deposit. :-/ Please don't be too mad. You know I want to sell the
blue trooper.

1A. Is it possible that one of your friends has driveway space for
one of your cars if you have the blue trooper & the vanagon at the
same time? I don't want a car out in the street.

2. How are you going to get this vanagon from IN to TX?

weekend, if that's what needs to be done.

It's possible. Or, I could pay to put it on the corner there at
lamar and
barton springs. Or, I could see if there are any consignment places

Flat towing with a tow bar.

I know. Thank you. I love you even when you're mad at me too. :)
Just think how nice it will be to go to, say, TRF and not have to set
up a tent, the stove, etc. Just park, pop the top and make sure the
propane is full.

I'll be glad to ask e. & it will be nice to get
into 'her' world for a bit, in a good way rather than
being bored to death listening to her and her friends
talk about various races & trails.

Sweetie is on the Bad List today: he bought a vanagon.
Without selling the blue trooper first, and without
asking my opinion...JUST like when he bought the
damned Ghia & left me to entertain festive & Dave all
weekend by myself. I really *was* over that...but it
is really hard to let bygones be bygones, when someone
does the EXACT FRICKEN THING to you AGAIN!!! The
opposite side of the "I forgive you" coin is "It won't
happen again"...Or at least that's the impression I
had.
