evile: Happy Friday! Good weekend plans?
SkyeDS: no weekend plans (which is good)
evile: Yeah, gotta have 'me time'
SkyeDS: I can't reply to onyxlynxx's email :( it keeps bouncing back at
me. from both tex1.net and hotmail
evile: How annoying!!
evile: Yahoo may be having issues (?)
SkyeDS: you don't happen to have her phone number? or msging info?
(aim, yahoo, msn, icq)
SkyeDS: I could'nt find her on the Members in the poly list.
SkyeDS: her addy was an ev1.net addy
evile: Her ICQ is 321943124. she's under onyxlynxx.
evile: I think onyxlynxx is her yahoo ID also
SkyeDS: cool. I'll find her that way. I'm persistent :)

SkyeDS: got lots of responses on the trailer, hopefully I'll be able
to sell it outright or rent to own it and be rid of it one way or
another (preferable to renting it indefinitely)

evile: Shoulda stood in bed today--all our support staff is out AND
one of my fellow notice writers is knocked up so there has been NO
work done today
SkyeDS: good thing it's friday!
evile: Personally, I've been very productive. Quota done by 11.
evile: I'm very glad for the upcoming weekend & for my vacation. I
really need a break.
evile: No idea what to pack...I should probably try and find out what
the weather's like up there right now.
SkyeDS: I joined umpteen million new ngs yesterday. general
ansteorra list (kingdom of tx & ok), ansteorra eq and scawitches.
SkyeDS: weather checks are good
SkyeDS: I can't believe after a lifetime of camping and more than a
decade of eventing that I forgot before last weekend
SkyeDS: and boy did I pay for my uncharacteristic stupidity too.
evile: It happens.
evile: Looks like lows in the 30s and highs in the 60s for the next
week in Browning. And rain. I'm bringing things to read...
SkyeDS: and extra pairs of dry clean socks, some Wellie rubbers from
Walmart or wherever, and longjohns (thermal undies)
evile: heh.
evile: It should be an adventure...
SkyeDS: adventures for which one is prepared, are awesome
evile: One of my LJ 'friends' is coming from Dallas on Saturday. We
might do lunch or something. Saturday evening is the trainride/movie
thing, and then Sunday some of the poly group was talking about going
to Hippie Hollow.
SkyeDS: never been there.
evile: It was a long time ago for me. Like....I was 9 or 10 kind of
long time ago.
evile: These days they don't let under 18 in to the park...
SkyeDS: ack. my post did not go through this morning.
SkyeDS: oh yeah, that lawsuit
evile: Hm. There may be some sort of hardware issue on your end, then?
SkyeDS: some guy took his kids and someone had issues with the kids
being naked around naked grownups and there was a lawsuit
evile: Yay for the guardians of our morality.
evile: Mixed feelings for me--I hate kids and I'm glad there are at
least a FEW places I can go where I won't be trampled by sprogs,
BUT...that sort of thing ought to be for the parents' good judgement
(not that most breeders have anything of the sort)

SkyeDS: I hope the rest of my emails went out this morning
SkyeDS: I had half a dozen inquiries on the trailer.
evile: *sigh* It's a slippery slope thing, everywhere you
look. "Well, that piece of legislation is invasive and obnoxious, but
HEY, it doesn't affect ME, so I'll ignore it"
SkyeDS: oh WAIT
SkyeDS: duh
SkyeDS: it's moderated
SkyeDS: oh well
SkyeDS: I responded twice
SkyeDS: Hangs Head
evile: Oh...I'm sur e that happens all the time, no biggie. Just
watch for bounces on the other stuff, I guess.
SkyeDS: I haven't checked my coven group since before Giornata
(beltane) oh well.
evile: RL must take precedence.
SkyeDS: I could have, I just didn't. Not till I am in a frame of
mind where I won't go biochemically insane and overreact to the
hurtfulness.
evile: yuck. That doesn't sound like a very good learning environment
at all...its one thing to be challenged, but another to feel attacked.
SkyeDS: I still need to write to Amberlyn and ask for imput other
than chirping of crickets to the last three essays I posted months ago
evile: yeah.
SkyeDS: was requested to clean up Hugh's desk.
evile: aha.
SkyeDS: which constitutes basically straightening up piles.
SkyeDS: so I divided stuff up into client piles and not client piles
evile: sounds good.
SkyeDS: no point in filing anything because then he'll just dig it
all back out again.
evile: heh. this is true.
evile: I'm starting to think the email issue may be with Yahoo...My
yahoo mail hasn't gotten anything new since this a.m.--very unusual.
SkyeDS: I don't know if yahoo has aything to do with mail going from
tex1.net or hotmail to ev1.net
SkyeDS: I'm innclined to think it's an ev1.net problem
SkyeDS: although no doubt yahoo has problems too
evile: *sigh* very irritating.
SkyeDS: woohoo, filing to walk down to the courthouse
SkyeDS: think I'll eat first
evile: sounds like a plan. is it still muggy out? it was this morning.
SkyeDS: probably so.
evile: ick.
evile: yahoo is having major issues over here. Could just be my
machine...nothing's working.
SkyeDS: hugh says no problems getting his mail from yahoo today.
evile: go fig.
evile: looks like I may have to reboot.
